Hear me out. I was using a shapable memory foam pillow with the little pieces inside. It kept getting flat and I would have to continuously fluff it up to be comfortable. I tried a down pillow and a bunch of others as well. No luck. I found this pillow and figured, why not? It seemed like it was a great shape, good deal and was solid foam. So I ordered it. I opened it up and let it expand and vent before using. I tried to sleep on my back and sides and I just couldn’t fall asleep. The height of the pillow is just a bit too high for my preference. I am a tall guy with long arms and the arm supports didn’t work for me. I also tried sleeping face down as it has a hole and I thought it would allow me to. You cannot breathe through the fabric and the hole is pointless for breathing. I was about to return it, but thought, let me give it a longer try first. I randomly turned the pillow backwards. In this position I lost the main functions of the pillow, but it actually was so comfortable. I fell right asleep and clocked a 99 sleep score on my app. I have been sleeping amazing with the pillow backwards. I took one star off for having to turn it backwards for it to work, losing most of its advertised features. I took another star off because of the vent hole in the middle being pointless. One other issue is it doesn’t breathe well and sometimes I get hot but I didn’t penalize the score because this happens to me with every pillow I’ve used and it might just be me. So backwards, I’ve had the best sleep of my life. I lost all of the main features but it’s technically working for me now. If you prefer taller more elevated pillows, you might love this, or just turn it backwards.

I've tried so many pillows. I'm the Goldilocks of pillows. None of them have helped me get through a night without neck or head pain, or having to fluff-flip the pillow a few times a night. They all failed the test...until my friend suggested this one. I double it up with a thinner pillow underneath it, and finally, I can sleep through the night. It's not pretty, but this pillow is just right.

It’s a little hard to get used to, expected immediately good results. It’s not quite as comfortable as expected. Haven’t had it long enough to say whether or not it’s improved sleep quality. It is firm enough to keep its shape. Versatility would depend on the person using it. It is helping my shoulder pain and that alone makes it worth the money.

This is not a memory foam. It is a simple foam. The shape is nice, but it doesn’t do anything for neck, head or shoulders. Presenting it as a memory foam, is misleading and not true. The pillow haha the same shape as the original MEMORY FIAM PILLOW. That’s why customer like me fell for it.

This was fine for the first 2 weeks, then the memory foam just completely compressed and never went back to shape. Now it’s just a lumpy thin pad that doesn’t give any neck support at all. My neck and shoulder pain that I bought this to fix got so bad I had to go to a chiropractor. The cover is also cheap and scratchy, it pills like crazy after one wash. For the price they charge, this is unbelievably low quality. Would never recommend to anyone dealing with chronic neck pain.

I am revising my review. The pillow still too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, however if you use it as a backer in your chair it works really great as comfortable support for your back. So if you feel you got stuck with it because you cannot sleep on it or return it, use it on your chair.
