Let me say first off that the actual product itself is a 5 star rating, the 2 stars is the fact that you are basically being lied to. $39 for a certified refurb seems like a great deal when in fact the only reason you're getting that is they are signing you up automatically to be an ads and special services test dummy. your lock screen will have ads on it every time you open it and when you go online to disable this service you will be notified that they are going to charge you $15 dollars to stop being poked and prodded by ads. Long gone are the days when companies had to earn they're business by treating they're customers with honesty, respect and overall quality service.

The hardware is okay, but it is basically a pad for Amazon products & services. You have to register with an Amazon account, they ask for credit card info, home address etc in setup. You are seeing ads everywhere, and you can't delete Amazon apps, nor install simple things like a normal web browser (but why would you want to visit a website other than Amazon!??). So it's cheap because it's just a pad for ordering on Amazon, watching movies on Amazon, reading books on Amazon, you get the idea... this is not a standard pad where you have choice. Will be returning today.

I wasn’t expecting anything from this little tablet, I just needed one for my child to watch shows on/play games on while on the go. I was able to buy a durable case and when setting it up it, I was shocked at how many features it had, how fast it was, and the low price. Definitely a steal!

This is my first Kindle Fire ever and I bought it as a random "Gift to me" I am in love, super happy, I have a concern that one of my nervous ticks may have accidentally bought a book but I will deal with that at customer service. The color and feel are super cute I love that I can comfortably hold it with two hands or one. I like the placing of the charger port because it does not interfer with my position of reading on my back while it's charging. Gotta remember the speaker is on the side, it feels brand new and I am grateful for this product!

Works perfectly and looks brand new. Haven't had any problems with it at all. Comes with charger and cord. Small enough to take anywhere and watch a movie, read a book, or listen to music. Comes with Alexa, which is always cool. You can do all sorts of things like shop on Amazon, check your email, or play games. Awesome for the price- really glad I bought this and now hubby wants one!

I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson. The first thing I did was set up Amazon Free time for kids. This keeps him away from my apps and books and amazon account. He can download movies, books, games so he can play or watch in the car where I don't have wifi. I bought him a cheeper tablet and took it back it was a piece of junk.
