This is a great eye cream. It’s kind of thick, like a balm. It is easily spreadable on the skin and absorbs like a dream. I kept squeezing the tube for more to apply to other areas of my face and neck. This is fragrance free. It played well underneath a layer of sunscreen (no pilling or balling up and shedding). I prefer this over the more fluid Cetaphil Eye Serum. This absorbs quicker, moisturizes, and does not sting my eyes. I do not see an improvement in under eye dark circles. I did not expect to see a dramatic difference for under eye darkness. I focus more on how well this moisturizes the skin around my eye. The texture of this eye cream is firmer than Aquaphor Healing Ointment. It spreads easier than Aquaphor Healing Ointment and does not leave a glossy shine. This is lightweight and moisturizing and works well for both the summer time and winter. I recommend putting Cerave moisturizing cream on a damp face (to lock in the moisture), wait 3 minutes for it to sink in, and then apply this around the eyes. I like this so much that I use it on my entire face and neck. It’s not as greasy as Aquaphor. Tip: Apply this around your nails cuticles to keep cuticles moisturized. I was anticipating a lot with this. The SPF is good. I don’t thing it moisturizes as well as I would like. I’ve had to add to one eye or the other regularly. I haven’t used long, a little over a week now.

    • Great eye cream for under makeup

I use this eye cream during the day. After I wash my face and put my moisturizer on, I also apply this under my eye and let it sit for a few minutes. It absorbs quickly and makes that area around the eye nice and smooth. It does not sting, and it doesn't lay on top of the skin, like some other eye creams do. After it has sat on my face for a minute or two, I then can apply concealer. It makes a huge difference on how the concealer stays on my face and looks. I'm a 69-year-old female, so that area obviously has some wrinkles! This is the perfect product if you are a make up person and wear concealer under your eyes ,because so few products work well with make up. ... show more

This eye cream is very hydrating without being overly greasy. I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate me at all. There is no scent that I can smell just like with all CeraVe products. A little goes a long way!

The first time I ordered this eye cream I would say 5-stars. I reordered from the same listing and I’m convinced it’s not the same/real product. Packaging is different. Bottle feels like a different texture, colors are off, bottle isn’t the same size as previous, and the actually consistency is more runny (so much so that the cream was leaked out all around the cap when I opened it) and when I used it, it DOES NOT feel the same. In the photos, the bottle on the left is the original and the one on the right is the one I just received. Even if CeraVe changed their packaging, I’m 99% sure the product inside is NOT CeraVe. When I buy this at the store, it still looks like the bottle on the left. (Also, the packaging was torn and bent on arrival like it had already been opened.) I’ve been using CeraVe skincare for a while and have never had been worried before about it not being the legitimate product. ... show more

I've tried a range of eye creams, I decided to give this a chance with no big expectations, but after using a couple of times, when I touch my undereye area the skin feels firm, tighter, and hydrated. If your issue is skin laxity this will help, now dont expect hyperpigmentation or purple color to go away, you need vitamin C or green tea for that.
