I bought this with the expectation of getting the white oxidation off my 2004 vehicle. I regret not taking a before of the hood but after a quick application (literally less than 15 minutes)-the 3rd picture was the result. The first two pictures was what the hood looked like.     • Do not waste your time.
Goes on stiff. Smears and leaves oily residue. Drags after wiping off. It never dries. Worse than using nothing at all. Had to use Mother's Cleaner Wax to get it off.

    • It won't fix bad clear coat damage
If you have minor UV damage this may help extend your paint. It does darken the area a bit but sever clear coat damage you might have to bite the bullet and get a respray. I used it in a soul red mazda 6. It's not expensive but this would also work for protection if you have a good clear coat.

well worth it for the price. my hood has bad oxidation and damaged clear coat...just one application and you see a big difference. You still can see it up close and it doesn't remove the texture obviously but from ten feet away you can barely tell. Looks way different from how it was and it's been about two weeks since I applied the product and washed the car and its still holding up. ... show more

works fine as a wax. i was looking more for something that would help minimize uv damage/clear coat failure on my pilot. based on another photo review (blue car) it looked like it would work great. it does make it look a little less white from far away but it doesn’t really hide it. i’m hoping if i reapply often it will keep the damage from getting worse before I sell the vehicle this summer. it did work really well around door handles where fingernails tend to scratch the paint. i’ve attached a photo showing the damage (right) and with the product applied (left) to show difference. also my door handles before and after ... show more

    • Ceramic wax is good
I tried this product to help with clear coat damage. It worked very well covering the many whitish areas. Unfortunately it did not fill in the scratches on my hood, which were too deep. Still, I recommen this product.

Used this on both my car and my wife's SUV. Went on easily on both without any problems. Gives a consistent, glossy look and the surface feels smooth. Good value for a simple wax that does what it should.
