Super easy to apply this. I made sure to do extensive prep so as to get a quality application. Water just beads up and slides off my car like butter. It's been a few weeks since I washed my car, and it looks remarkably clean still.

This finish is easy to apply...spray it on lightly, spread with the included microfiber cloth (the nicer "plush' sort), wait a minute, and wipe it off. If you see a little dry haze, just wipe over that part again and it goes away.Water does bead up nicely after application, so I'm happy. To be fair, I prepped my car finish pretty well before using it...washed, clayed, and wiped down with a "waterless" wash, so I can't be sure how much extra this finish adds, but it didn't hurt, and was quick and easy to use. There's not a lot of product...10 ounces, so use it lightly; you don't have to flood it on.

I'm an avid user of rainx on my windshields but I don't often wax my car until I go somewhere to have it wash and hand-dried. This is was available from the amazon vine program so I decided to take a chance and try it out. WOW. I know when my car's cleaned, it looks good, but the sheen this coating gives is fantastic. Do note if you have some discoloration on your vehicle, this won't cover it up - there are probably other products out there to fill scratches and or color match your vehicle. In any case, we've had one light rain since I used this on my car and the shine is still incredible but really loved not seeing the rain bead off. Solid recommendation!

It’s a little cold in the northeast to be out washing a car and applying a ceramic sealant. I did however take the opportunity to try this coding on the tailgate of my truck. I cleaned the surface. Well no I did not use it clay bar and applied as directed. The tailgate was nice and shiny and water beat it up easily when sprayed. My assumption is that this will work well on the rest of my truck and other cars so it’s a buy

I recently took a chance on the AUTOBS Ceramic Coating for Cars, drawn in by the promise of a new generation of vehicle protection. Ceramic coatings are renowned for their hydrophobic properties and durability, and I was eager to see how this brand would fare. The product boasts the use of the latest nano-hybrid coating technology, designed to create a sleek, protection layer on the vehicle's surface. The allure of regaining a car's shiny lustre and brilliance was a strong selling point. However, my experience did not entirely match the hype. Despite following the instructions diligently, including claying the car post-application to test its effectiveness, the results were underwhelming. When caught in a Northern California rainstorm, the expected hydrophobic behavior—where water forms beads and rolls off the surface—was less pronounced than I anticipated based on past experiences with other coatings. Industrial fallout protection is another critical aspect of any ceramic coating worth its salt. A common method to gauge this is to assess how much dirt or debris a clay bar picks up after the coating has been applied. On this front, the AUTOBS Ceramic Coating did not stand out. The clay bar test revealed more residue than I would expect from a product that claims to offer powerful protection. In a market where ceramic coatings can deliver stunning results, this product, unfortunately, falls into the category of average. It may provide a basic level of protection, but for those in search of a robust shield against the elements and pollutants, it seems to miss the mark. When evaluating on a scale from 1 to 10, I'd place the AUTOBS Ceramic Coating at a 5. It offers some level of protection, yes, but not the comprehensive armor you would expect or desire for your vehicle, making the price point feel unjustified.

The family of hydrophobic paint treatments also known as ceramic sealants are very good on good quality (new) paint. Results vary on older paint but can be improved with a light cleaning compound. This treatment sprays on easily with the included spray nozzle onto a freshly washed section of paint. After application rub in with the supplied microfiber cloth until all streaks of sealant are gone. The paint repels water and cuts back on the static attraction of dust. Cleaning could be as simple as a quick spray down. Tried a small square on my truck and it did leave the paint shiny and water did flow off quickly when sprayed on the applied area.
