First off the stuff I like, the feel of the controllers are very close to the original PS3 controllers maybe a little lighter and different buttons but it's good where it counts. And for the price these are a steal. Some things I noticed while using them are the controllers take a little longer to connect then I'm used to and the LEDs don't show which player you are when playing PS2 games (sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't). The buttons are a bit stiff but don't feel cheap. Originally I did have a defective unit with a stuck left joystick and weird divots in the thumbsticks but my replacement didn't have any of those issues. I bought these so I could play Medal of Honor Airborne, and it was a good purchase. The chords are really short, but the controllers work absolutely fine. Something I noticed with other games is the controller will set itself as a different controller number. It does this automatically so the controller will work with the game. I found that out while playing Resident Evil 5. I accidentally hit the PlayStation button and saw it was set as controller 2. I changed it to controller 1 and it didn't work with the game. The analog stick works but the acceleration is a bit too high. Both controllers I received charged up and paired and work, I haven't found any dead spots, but testing on call of duty mw2, even on stick sensitivity one it's hard to control the sight reticle. I always turn aim assist off. It's better than nothing, but honestly nearly unplayable if you depend upon precision control. Sony controller is far more useable. The feel and appearance are good and for a backup set it's probably worth the price tag I paid, I think it was $16 for a pair. ... show more

The cord they came with would not sync them to the ps3, luckily I had an old cable for the ps3 itself and they synced right up. However, the response time is horrible. The joysticks don't move your view or character unless pushed nearly all the way in whichever direction, this makes minute adjustments extremely challenging and bordering on impossible when trying to play things like shooters. They also don't handle buttons pressed in rapid succession very well. If I press one button, I must wait about a full second before pressing another or else it doesn't even register I've pressed another. Which will mess things up in combat scenarios and put you at a disadvantage. I can't imagine trying to do combos in a fighting game such as tekken with these controllers. The response time is better and almost normal if left plugged into the cord, but the joysticks still aren't quite right even then. I don't recommend these unless you intend on only playing turn based games where response time doesn't matter. ... show more

These are pretty good! I've had them for a few weeks now, and the only complaint I have is that the left stick on the black controller is a bit stiff and sticks sometimes, but it hasn't been a major issue so far, and it even seems to be sticking less and less with continued use.
