My control panel stopped working mid cook on Thanksgiving day. Fortunately, I had a pellet grill I was able to finish cooking the turkey in. I was beyond frustrated with MB and their control panel. It rarely work with the app and when it did, it was inconsistent. I noticed the temp control was getting a little weird the last couple of cooks. I had to turn the dial more and more to get the temp to move. Finally, on Thanksgiving day, I was adjusting the temp of the 1050 and it dropped all the way down to 225 and I couldn't adjust it up or down after that. I turned it off and unplugged it for a little bit, hoping that would correct it. Nope, it was done. Anyway, that's my rant about the original 1050 control board. This on was easy to install and works great. I'm not worried about the bluetooth or wireless connectivity, because it never worked on the MB control board anyway.

This cheap knock off controller for Masterbuilt smoker does not provide the user with accurate temperature control . The controller I received is almost 40° at a tolerance. I have my smoker set at 210 but internal temperature readings are 253. On top of the poor temperature control the controller does not work with the Masterbuilt app.

I’m very happy with this controller for the Masterbuilt 560 because the installation was quick and easy - all the screws and electrical adapters fit perfectly. The original had wifi, but it only worked on 2.4 GHZ, and I had a miserable time trying to separate my router frequencies to accommodate the Masterbuilt. And it’s really not a big deal that the new controller doesn’t have wifi since I use a Bluetooth temperature probe anyway.

Only used one of the three switches so far and it is working great. Good replacement for the switch I melted thanks to a grease fire in my Masterbuilt.

Only for american market. No celsius. Look on european market, there i got (now) a celsius version with wifi and Bluetooth cheaper. It works. Shopping was fast.
