No. Just don’t do it. This is my second one. The first one stopped signaling to the fan to turn on, rendering the smoker unusable. Installed the replacement and it worked perfectly for about three hours. Got my ribs prepped for Super Bowl Sunday, got the smoker fired up and up to temp. I went back out to put the ribs on and the temp was 130 degrees. Again, the unit I replaced today and tested for three hours (working just fine this morning) is not signaling the fan to turn on, rendering my smoker useless.

Wi-fi not connecting I understand, it's in the description but bluetooth will not completing with the app. I can control the temp manually and use external meat temps but bluetooth would've been useful.

I saw a review about it only working once. Thought the chances of it happening to me would be highly unlikely but I was wrong. That was exactly what happened to me. Worked once just fine, did not work the second time.
