It is advertised as kids hat but it fits adults too. I needed a hat for hiking, kayaking, travel and picnics. I tried an adult size but even at its smallest it was too big around and too deep. I looked and looked to find a smaller hat that fit, was adjustable, has great air circulation, not too big brim, adult colors, packs well, a has a place for a pony tail and wasn’t expensive. I purchased two for my two daughters and the hat fit my 4yr old great but was way too small for my 8ur old. The original product description said fits 5-12yr olds. I would not recommend for children over 5-6yrs old. Be sure to measure your child’s head and add 1-2 inches for a comfortable fit.
