Bought this kicking stand for my 8 and 10 year olds as they take taekwondo classes and needed them to practice at home too. -Already come assembled. -Easy to fill up with water. -Quality materials and easy to clean. -Easy to adjust to need height. I bought this punching bag for my kids, and they really enjoy it. It’s not built for serious training or heavy use, but as a toy for children to hit around and have fun with, it works great. It keeps them entertained, gives them an outlet for energy, and has held up fine so far. If you’re looking for a durable training tool, this isn’t it. 1. It's exactly what we needed. Something for my son (7 yo) to beat up when he needed to let off some steam. 2. It is sturdy. My son has already tried to climb it. So, we had to put some ground rules in place. No climbing and no hitting it with anything other than your body. As long as he follows those rules, I don't see him tearing it up any time soon. (Famous last words???) 3. It's portable. Yes, it's heavy when filled with water, but the base is round, so easy to roll around when necessary. 4. It's not gigantic. Bless the heart of that sweet young man at Academy who wanted to sell me the smallest heavy weight bag (perfect size for my son) and then pointed to the enormous stand I would have to use with it. Thank you so much for your time, but I'm not creating a dedicated gym for my 7-year old. 5. I like the reviews that include pros and cons. We have only had ours a week. The only con I can think of was that it was a little smaller than I realized. But after watching my son in action, I think the size is adequate. 6. The height of the bag is adjustable. He is a karate kid and loved practicing every day for 15-30 min and have a sticker or treat after just makes him more encouraged. I put clean sand instead of water (50 lb bag) since I don't want water to change PH and get stinky, don't get me wrong, it's a closed container but still if I need to clean it, I wouldn't. Sand was a solution for me. It works like a charm. I practice myself sometimes and teach the kid how to do it safe and compete with him. Very durable and lots of fun. ... show more
