As a punching mitt great, I agree the hand pattern is weird and is a little uncomfortable as it feels like both are made for one hand. They seem to be holding up well and my kids are learning to be little boxers with my help. We will see how they do when I can start swinging on them.

It can get too tight if you have a wider fist. But it sure works. The material is good. I use this for my kids practice for their martial arts routine. Works great for that purpose, if you don't want to buy a boxing stand.

The pad is designed for use with left and right hands, making the glove tight on the webbing of your pinky for both hands when using the gloves. Both pads are exact duplicates. Not comfortable for long periods of use. Works for cheap fix
