We first opened this Music Boxing Machine at my son’s birthday party, and it was an instant hit! The kids (and adults!) had so much fun taking turns trying to beat the patterns. It’s easy to set up, and I really appreciated the option to mount it with either Velcro or screws. Since people of all heights were using it, the Velcro setup worked perfectly for us. It was easy to use and worth the money with the coupon. The gameplay is simple but super engaging—think Whack-a-Mole meets Simon Says. The lights flash with different speed and pattern options, so there’s enough variety to keep everyone entertained. Even though the “random” mode isn’t totally random, it still felt fun and fast-paced. Level 5 has become our go-to difficulty! A few notes worth knowing: Though the machine itself was designed pretty well, the included gloves are generously sized, and may be a little loose for smaller hands. The punch pads aren’t soft, so gloves are definitely a must so with smaller hands you will need other gloves. The built-in music and sound effects can get repetitive, but we connected our own playlist through Bluetooth, which made it even better. The instructions could be clearer, especially for switching between modes—but once you figure it out, it’s smooth sailing. Overall, this is such a fun, space-saving gadget. It's great for warm-ups or quick workouts, and definitely brought a lot of laughs and energy to the party. Highly recommend!

I was told about this by a friend who just wanted something different to go with her exercise routine. It is great fun. There are nine levels, so you can start slow and work your way up. It functions well. It will start to get glitchy when it needs charged, but I’ve never had it completely quit in the middle of the session. The volume is adjustable. It does take some prep work to mount. I think if you mounted it directly to a wall, you might damage the wall. I use it four times a week. It was well worth the price. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

I feel like this is more 4.5/5, but the minor flaws are just plentiful enough that I cannot round it up to 5 stars. To start, clearly the instructions have some flaws. There's some obvious translation issues, but most are easy to understand. But why shouldn't you use the boxing machine if you are menstruating?! You can install permanently with screws or by fully adhering it to the wall, or just use strips of Velcro on the wall and smaller pieces on the machine. All the materials for hanging the machine are included, but the three different options aren't fully explained as options. If you read all the instructions, it's clear that's what they are, but if you weren't paying attention fully, you might start with A and keep going. Because A is fully adhering it, that could cause problems if you want it to be moved up and down. Because there are only three buttons but many options, each button doubles as at least two different things. The instructions are pretty clear for this part, but you should keep track of your instructions for the complexity of the different buttons. The buttons are also in between the touch sensitive type and actual buttons that toggle. I can see them over time becoming problematic with the amount of long and short holds that are needed to change settings. Just turning it on was a bit of an issue because of the lack of tactile feedback. Kids might keep pressing harder and harder if the battery is dead, just thinking they're not properly pressing the button. Finally, the charge port is on the upper part of the boxing machine. This is a little awkward if you are charging it at a higher height. The cord is sufficient to reach my wall outlet, but might not be for others. Since it keeps the machine off, a solution may be to lower it while charging. These are smaller flaws ultimately for an exercise game that is quite fun. Out of the box it was easy to use and my 5 year old quickly picked up the goal and had some fun with it. The size is good for adults and kids; they provide a basic boxing glove, but it isn't unique to the machine so you could use your own. The Velcro is so strong I'm actually worried I'm going to break the machine when moving it! But with a little finagling, it can be moved up and down for different heights. At least I'm not worried it will fall! This is a good purchase overall. Fun to use with some minor flaws that don't detract away too much.
