The seat fits perfectly and looks great. I love that it's a smooth non-porous material, so cleaning and sanitizing is a literal breeze. I was able to install it myself without asking for any help from my husband, in under 5 minutes. It's been a few weeks since we started using it and it hasn't loosened up or had anything happen yet. So I'm pretty satisfied. It is a thinner plastic than some. I enjoy this because I don't like heavy toilet seats, this one doesn't slam down like my old lid did. But for some people I can see this being a downside, because it isn't great for sitting on, because it will bend under your weight. But that isn't really an issue in my house. We don't really sit on the toilet with the seat down often. But if that would bother you, that's something you should take into consideration. For me the only con I can see is that I wish there was maybe some kind of rubber pieces or something on the bottom side of the seat, because if I shift my weight a tiny bit I can feel the seat slide just a little bit, against the porcelain of the toilet. But the seat for now is nice and tightly screwed on, it's not really a issue- but if I was to be critical, that's the only thing I would really change. ... show more

I bought this seat to replace the wooden molded toilet seat. Assembly was easy only requiring a flathead screwdriver. This was a perfect replacement and at a very good price. Wooden molded seats are much cheaper in price in comparison at our local Home Depot but wooden seats are heavy and the white paint tends to chip and discolors after constant cleaning and use. This seat will probably hold up but what I like is how light it is. Although not soft closing like the more expensive ones, putting down the seat doesn’t make a large bang like the much heavier wooden seat. Unlike everyone else I just wanted a basic lightweight plastic elongated toilet seat. Don’t care at all for the bells and whistles of the new standard toilet seats. This filled that basic need perfectly. A little skimpy on the plastic but well constructed and for the cheapest one I could find anywhere I am very pleased. It’s a racket paying an average of $30 for a toilet seat these days. Slowly they have taken away all the affordable basic options. So glad I found this. Would buy again. ... show more

Centoco Toilet Seat Slow Close, Round, Plastic. Color: Bone Easy to install. The color matches perfectly. Feels a bit flimsy, but it seems to be staying in place - not wobbly. The lid takes a really loooooong time to fully close. (I timed it. a full 30 seconds for the seat and 1m 45s for the lid) Would I buy this again? I'd probably go for the kind that snaps on and off for more thorough cleaning. Hoping the clips hold the seat in. They seem a bit flimsy. Probably wouldn't buy this particular model again. ... show more

Fit was fine good replacement for one that was trashed. Made in the USA unreal. UPS messed up putting it on the wrong truck in Orlando. Thought it was lost they found it sent to our area one day late. What else is new.

it is average installation time. I bought three of them and installed. Out of three cover was pushing down while my elbow was touching while i was screwing so the Sturdiness is questionable. Out of three i was not able to clip back one of them. Gluing will work but future it will be hard to take out. They should QA the product before sending. Over i am not happy about the product or the workmanship. Unfortunately i am not able to return them because unscrewing will take long time. ... show more
