Installed in my 2021 Tacoma. I first used some alcohol on a clean cloth to wipe around the edges of where the tape will stick. Peeled the two sided tape and stuck it. Perfect fit. Looks custom. I also put a decal I bought off e bay. Whatcha think.

The little cubbyhole in front of the shifter in my Tacoma has always been a grossly underutilized space. While it's convenient to the driver and passenger and is large enough to store some useful items, it has never done so in a remotely secure way. This cover panel solves that handily. First off - the fit is flawless - in fact, it fits so well, the adhesive isn't 100% necessary. Construction is solid - yes, there is some flex to the panel as would be expected with a plastic cover, but it's not excessive. The plastic seems to be a fairly tough variety, so I don't anticipate issues with the durability unless abused terribly. The cover panel encloses that area perfectly and prevents anything from inadvertently falling out. It also provides a little bit more security, keeping items stored there out of sight from prying eyes. The only real complaint I have with it is the opening tab - it's a little bit too high, making it more difficult to open than it should be. Yes, it's a nitpicky complaint, but I shouldn't need to fight with a panel covering what is supposed to be a readily-accessible area. My fingers aren't particularly large and I struggled a bit with it until I figured out exactly how to position them to get consistent access - someone with larger fingers is likely going to have a difficult time. Overall - great look, great construction, flawless fit, solid function - the only real annoyance is in the opening tab.

If you crawl behind the wheel of a Tacoma hunting every inch of usable cubby space, this sneaky console lid tray becomes your secret weapon. Slap it right inside that lid and boom, suddenly there's a flat, invisible pocket staring back at you. Perfect for slipping your emergency cash stash, that backup credit card you pretend doesn't exist, or maybe the spare house key your neighbor shouldn't know about. It doesn’t matter if your truck's got wireless charging pads or not; this thing slides into place without messing with anything already living in there. Slapping it on? Dumb easy. Rip off the adhesive backing like a Band-Aid and press hard count to thirty while breathing through your nose. Some Tacoma lifers swear by hitting the tape with a hair dryer for ten seconds first (heat makes sticky things stickier, right?). Once it's planted, it feels like factory work, no rattles, nothing peeling up later. Matte black disappears against the plastic like it grew there. What's it actually *do*? Keeps nosey passengers from eyeballing your glovebox poker winnings and stops pocket lint from coating your essentials. Don't try cramming your Glock in here, depth's barely enough for folded bills. But for the coins, vape cartridges, and expired coupons cluttering your life? Absolute gold.

I keep a lot of things in my center arm rest so I ordered this to hide valuables I would regularly want access to in the center console. I typically place my wallet here when I park for a run. The fit is near perfect and really does look factory with matching lines and texture. It is sturdy enough where it counts but does have some give. My only reason for dropping it a star is that, when open, it sits over the cup holders and completely blocks the installed light. The cup holder issue isn't major as I leave this door closed unless I'm accessing inside it. However, at night, and with this door closed, the entire center console is dark. That is annoying. Overall, I'm very pleased with this door and I think it gives the area a sleeker look.

Not going to lie, when this first came out of the box it felt kind of flimsy and cheap, but I held my nose and installed it anyway, and it actually looks half decent. Installation takes about ten seconds, you just wipe the console hole clean, peel, and stick. The magnetic catch on the door is strong enough to keep it closed securely, but not too strong that it feels like you will tear the sticker off. It fit the hole perfectly.

This storage cover was really easy to install, but do pay attention to the little strips of adhesive you peel off because they're hard to miss at first. The bracket felt a little loose the first day, but now it's pretty solid. It feels great to finally be able to keep my sunglasses safely hidden away in the truck!

This listing does not state this (but it should) - if you have a 3rd gen Tacoma with a manual transmission this "JJMY" center console cover will not fit. It's so flimsy that I probably wouldn't have installed it even if it did fit.

This is a great addition and fits perfect into the wireless charging area of my 2018 Toyota tacoma. It was very easy to install and it took like two seconds. It slips right in as you think it would. The quality of material is plenty adequate for an item like this and it should hold up over time. .I love the sleek and uniform look that it has, and really like how it seamlessly hides anything stored in that area. The magnetic latch is perfect because it makes it very easy to open, but still holds strong enough to stay closed. I also really like that It doesn't have any unnecessary logo or imprint on the front, unlike many other products like this on the market. The price is well worth its function, and I am very satisfied with it.
