Cen-Tec Systems' 92707 hose is a 20 foot extension hose that will fit onto your home shop vac. The 1. 25 inch high quality crushproof hose is highly flexible and durable, with a smooth interior which improves airflow. On one end is a 1. 25 inch swivel stub tube that fits into standard 1. 25 inch (32Mm) vacuum wands and tools. On the other end is a 2. 125 to 2. 25 inch shop vacuum adapter, which will work with most ridged, craftsman, Stanley, Vacmaster and shop-vacuum brands. The hose is silver in color, and perfect for hooking onto your shop vacuum to clean out the garage, car, or home shop. It will even excel just vacuuming around the house.

This is a good quality item. A definite upgrade from the supplied Shop Vac hose. It is much less likely to get twisted or kinked, which was a real problem with the original hose. The added length is great for being able to reach everywhere in my garage. Suction is as good if not better than before. I have been using this hose for about a month now and it’s great. The quality is there - even the connectors have that attention to detail that I'm impressed with. I have a 15’ hose that weighs 5 or 6 pounds, and sure, the thing is strong (maybe indestructible). But it’s also very heavy and didn’t work well when I connected it to my hand sander – the hose pulled the sander off my bench and onto the ground. This hose is light weight and strong. I’m a big guy (270 pounds) and I’m always stepping on it in my shop. The hose bounces right back without any permanent squishing. I read in one of the reviews something about being like a pool hose – and that can’t be further from the truth. Great hose, great value, and I’m probably going to buy a second! ... show more

I have been on a mission to make the garage / shop space more usable. One of my pain points was dragging around the shop-vac when vacuuming either in the garage or the car, since the original hose was only around 6 feet long. Centec offers a few different sizes, but I opted for the 30'. This way, I can leave it where it sits in the garage and get to anywhere in the garage without having to move it. If I am going to work on the car, I can easily leave it near the garage door, plugged into power, and then just walk the hose around to get to everything. I was thinking originally of getting the 50', but thought it may experience too much suction drop. I haven't measured the suction loss between the original 2.5" hose vs this 30' 1.25", but it still seems to work and vacuum fine, so I'm not worried about it. The hose itself seems pretty flexible, but durable. Right now, I just store it by draping it over something in the garage, but may plan in the future to get a 'hose reel' to manage it better. If you're looking for a nice 'quality of life' improvement, a longer shop-vac hose is definitely on the list. and this Cen-Tec fits the bill just fine. ... show more

This hose is flexible enough to be ok. There is no rubber feel to it, it acts like a better plastic hose. The attachments are numerous and functional. It fits perfectly into my Procter Gable 2.5” inlet/outlet. I thought that the price was ok compared to what other hoses + attachments I looked at on Amazon. ... show more

Purchased the Cen-Tec Systems Premium Shop Vacuum Extension Hose, 20 Feet for my wall hanging shop vac in the garage. The hose is a few feet longer, seems more flexible because of a "softer" vinyl material which may be nicer when pulling into vehicles. The ends are more durable especially at the connection point to the hose, which has a swivel connection point vs a rigid attachment point. Only used a few times so unsure on the durability but I can't believe it will fail under normal use. ... show more

I needed a hose to go with my new Makita orbital sander. This fit my shop vac perfectly on one end and the other end, being a bit bigger than where it attaches to the sander, needed a little electrical tape wrap to shim it to size, then it fit perfect. Worked great for cleaning our heater ducts! We ran a long string from one end of the heating system to the other (using a small RC car), attached the string to the hose, turned on the shop vac and pulled the hose through the ducts. Then we pulled the hose (with string) back and did it again... and again... and again. The hose was flexible enough to go through the floor register yet strong enough to last through the process unscathed. We got so much stuff out of the ducts - I was amazed. So glad we decided to buy this - we spent much less than we would have on a duct cleaning service and now we have this handy item so we can do it annually. YAY! I have decided to make my own central vacuum system for my home instead of buying a ready unit. After reading for months, I have decided that making my own central vac would be much less costly, and much better quality. I was to the point where I needed to decide on what type of hose to use before installing the piping in the ceiling and walls. I needed a flexible hose that will retract into the supply tubing. The Hide a Hose style. I figured for the price, if this hose didn't work I can use it as a shop vac and garage hose. As soon as I opened the box and pulled on the hose I knew this was so much more than I expected. There is no doubt that this hose will work just as good as the Hide a Hose, at less than half the cost. This is the best purchase I have made in years. ... show more
