I love putting a few of these in my car on long road trips. it really keeps me company and breaks up the silence. Don't try driving in the HOV 2+ lane though, as cops look for these and will pull you over for illegal use of the HOV lane. I have Debra, Nicki, and Dionne in my car and we have a BLAST. I just wish they'd talk more, they are quite introverted. Once you get tired of their personality, you can use them for lawn decorations: I love lining my yard with these. First, drench them in blood, but leave enough of the face showing. Second, stick them on a pole stuck firmly in the ground. Line the heads on sticks across your front lawn to keep solicitors and nut cases away. Works perfectly.

I bought this doll for my State Board prep class and my first impressions of the manikin are wonderful. She comes in the same packaging as the Sam 2 doll and I have always been a fan of that manikin. To my surprise, her ends do not need to be cut like a lot of manikins. Her hair feels great, it's not very full if that it what you are looking for. I'm excited to use her and style her. I can tell the quality is great, I will update once I style and cut her.

I used this manikin for the NYS cosmetology practical and I was very pleased. She was easy to comb out right out the box, with little to no shedding or tangling with no product in. The hair did get a little slippery when wet, more than it would usually be kind of like there was a conditioner or something in it, which made the pin curls difficult. length is good so there's enough for a proper cut. All in all she's definitely a good state board manikin.

Like the MusicMan, I purchased this for use in working with photographic lighting setups. Like MusicMan my family members often run the other way when they see me with my camera and lights. Debra doesn't run away, and I really like that about her. After using the mannequin head for a few weeks, I can give you my initial thoughts. The skin tones and contours have been helpful as I work with various lighting setups and I have been generally happy with this item. HOWEVER, be advised there are painted catch lights in her eyes, and when I blackened those in to better judge my lighting, I found the plane of the eyes to be somewhat downward. This means that you don't get accurate renditions of catch lights in the eyes. Now this is not marketed as a photography mannequin, but that's why I'm not giving this a 5 star rating. Still, considering the price and compact size, I'm still very happy to have this tool in my studio.

I am a student at The Staunton School of Cosmetology. I needed a manikin to do three hair cuts at a job interview. I didn't want to use my school ones for state board. The hair on this manikin was actually in better condition than my school ones---which cost me more. Its not super long but it is long enough for me to do my three hair cuts--long layered, stack, and a clipper cut. I almost hate to cut all the hair off. I'm very pleased since I was very nervous about ordering one offline.
