Purchased the 14" version. They are beautiful and it's great they can be dimmed. Would be 5 stars except the terrible, cheap mounting bracket that only supports 2 sides leaving a large, noticeable gap between the fixture and the ceiling on the 2 unsupported sides. A shame they would make such a clear mistake. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I replaced my boob lights (dome lights) with these at front entryway and hallway to kids room/guest bath and talk about an upgrade! Bye Bye 1997! Our entryway has a 9' ceiling and is about 8'x6' with a coat closet and this puts off great white light to see in the closet and light up the floor as to not trip on the million pairs of shoes flung-off by three teens and their friends. It's heavy so get a buddy to help you install. READ AHEAD in the instructions so you save yourself the time of assembly then subassembly because you forgot to put the posts in....trust me. ***The support bar this light hangs from really should be thicker to bare the weight of the light, there was no way for me to mount this completely flush to the ceiling. (but unless you're staring to FIND flaws in the installation, you'll never notice) Ladies....choose your words nicely here. ***MEN WHOM OVERTIGHTEN EVERYTHING-A WORD OF ADVICE. If you tighten up the support bar too much it actually makes the problem worse by sucking the center of the support bar up into the electrical box in the ceiling and further pushing the ends of support bar down, further away from ceiling. Add the weight of this light and you've increased the distance between ceiling and light fixture. Go easy boys. My 16 yr old daughter and I installed this. You can too. ... show more

This was for our foyer, and the ceiling is 8 feet, so I didn’t want a low hanging light, but needed brightness. I ordered the smaller size, but once it was installed (good directions by the way) it really was too small for the length of the hall and looked kind of lost. I was absolutely thrilled with the 14 inch size. It is beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice. Just the right amount of bling, but not gaudy. Used this ceiling fixture for our closet to match the one in the bedroom. It’s a very pretty light - just a bit of bling and fanciness. Very bright once installed, easy to do so as well. Love that there are difference sizes of the same style so you can easily match it within your home.
