First of all, I apologize for the poor video but I could not upload the one that I created for my review due to some restriction by Amazon so I had to make one on the fly in the Amazon app so the quality is not really as good as I wanted nor are the features and points covered that I wanted to cover because I had to do it on the fly in the app 🌷 I am very pleased with my purchase of these light covers. They are very well made and of heavyweight finely etched glass and they look absolutely beautiful even on the most basic fan, the Hunter Builder, which is in my video. When you dim your light bulbs, even if you just have regular white ones, they make a gorgeous effect on the ceiling and throughout the room. I have color changing light bulbs in mine. The ceiling fan in the video is a Hunter Builder Model 42" but I checked and they should fit all Hunter Ceiling Fans that have the post 2018 LED Light Kit (it's the ones that take the normal looking bulbs with an E26 base, NOT the very old ones, pre 2018 ones that took candelabra bulbs). Reasons to buy: • The globes are quality, well made, heavy glass; • The globes are very well etched without discrepancies; • The globes fit perfectly into the lighting fixture; • The etching effects a beautiful result in the room ESPECIALLY when you dim the lights with or without color changing light bulbs; • The seller stands behind their product! The shades are very well made and the frosted pattern was flawless. They are very thick and bulky, unfortunately the fixture we were adding them to was on the dainty side. I did not feel it could hold these securely, we returned them. But if you have a strong solid fixture I would recommend them.

Love, love, love the clear-frosted combo! The design even in the clear sections provides enough ripples to diffuse the bulb, while you can still see a centralized glow like a real gas light would give. At maximum brightness with the same bulbs, I would say the level of light with these glass shades is about 20% brighter than the white fabric shades I replaced. When dimmed, I can look right at the light and enjoy the design. Great vintage look, and the clear design complements the crystals in the chandelier. None were broken in shipping and the glass seems thick and sturdy. My fittings were 2 1/4 and fit perfectly. These were the only affordable vintage-style glass shades I could find! ... show more
