  • a LOT of parts but well organized packaging.
Item Shape: 8x6x6 FT - Black & Clear - Upgr...
This is an ERECTOR set assembly. Directions are not great. Multiple "take aparts" to get it correct. Really do need to have a mechanical aptitude to get this assembled. Once together, it is very nice and works as advertised; especially for the price point.

  • Pretty happy with this greenhouse
Item Shape: 8x6x6 FT - Black & Clear - Upgr...
We are pleased with this greenhouse. The instructions weren't too great but overall it is strong and does the job. One suggestion to the manufacturer..... the bolts that stick outside into the "rain gutter" are rusting immediately. Change to a galvanized bolt.

  • Would be 5 stars if the manufacturer would fix 3 things
Item Shape: 20x10x10 FT - Black & Clear - U...
This product could be a 5 star product if they addressed three issues. The first has been mentioned by several other reviewers. The instructions aren’t very clear and it takes a bit of studying to understand how it’s meant to be assembled. The second issue is that the structure isn’t very stable in high winds (30-40 mph or more). I had 3-4 inches of sway and the center ridge angle bracket buckled during one particular gusty day. I remedied this instability by adding internal guy wires across the length and width walls to both square the structure and add substantial rigidity. This was done by using 1/8” stainless steel cable and turnbuckles attached to the structure as an “x”. Now under 60+ mph winds it barely moves. I feel this should be part of the design especially since most people installing these greenhouses probably live in areas where there’s substantial wind during seasonal weather changes. The third issue is that the side wall panels and roof panels are too short. The sidewall panels appear to be 1/4-1/2” too short. The roof panels are 1/8-3/8” too short. When the side panels are fully seated in the groove in the base, the top of the panel is short of the top groove by about 1/8”. The result is that the panel flexes at the top due to a lack of support by the groove and if you push hard enough, it bows enough for the sides of the panel to slip out of their grooves. The first windy day blew several of the panels out of the walls. I attempted to put a shim in the bottom groove so that the panel would “sit high” in the groove so the panel would engage in the top groove, but it only ends up with about 1/16” of engagement in the top and bottom grooves, which is not enough to prevent the contraction during low temperatures from causing the panel to pop out of the top groove during windy conditions. The roof panels also move and flex with the wind causing them to also pop out of their grooves although they seem to be less problematic than the side panels. I’m making some additional modifications to keep the panels restrained but all of this extra work could have been avoided by providing slightly longer panels. If the manufacturer would remedy these issues, this would be a 5 star product. It’s visually appealing and the overall quality seems to be good. I had all of the parts and no other real fitment issues. Once I’ve secured the side and roof panels from popping out of the grooves, I think this product will last quite awhile. ... show more

  • Frustrating
Item Shape: 8x6x6 FT - Black & Clear - Upgr...
I have put together many things with bad instructions, but none compare to how ridiculous these instructions are. The pictures are not helpful and often did not look like the parts that were called for. I finally got it put together the day before yesterday, however, I cannot get the vent to stay attached. Yesterday was windy and rainy and the vent blew off. If I can't get it easily attached again without taking anything apart, or I'm unable to get it to stay attached, I'm taking the rest of it down and sending it back. I also had to go to the hardware store to pick up more nuts for the bolts because not enough were provided. ... show more

  • Huge Pain to Put Together, but Worth It! **UPDATE**
It took 5 of us several hours to put together. My dad has built 5 houses and he was ready to throw this thing in the burn pile at first. There was a lot of putting things together, taking them back apart, rearranging, and flipping things over before we got the hang of it. The instructions are insanely vague and they need to improve their instruction manual big time! A few tips: 1. Definitely anchor it to a foundation and seal all panels with silicone caulk to make it more wind resistant. We poured 6 concrete pillars 2ft deep, bolted pressure treated 4x4s to the concrete, and added additional screws at the bottom of each panel (pic 4). So far we've had gusts of 40+ and this thing hasn't budged. 2. Some of the square back screws slide into grooves, not holes, (which is not noted in the instructions) so if it's not making sense check for a groove. 3. The windows slide into a groove on the roof at the ends. Just slide them all the way down to where you want them to be. 4. Some of the silver metal plates don't line up well with the screw holes but they do line up if you flip them around so you have to play with those to get them the right way. 5. There is no handle inside to keep the door closed. You have to use a rock or something to hold it open and keep it from slamming back and forth in the wind. 6. We drilled another hole on the window arm to keep it closed in the wind. (pic 5) 7. The 6x12 size comes in 3 boxes and they might arrive on different days. 8. 2 options for anchoring it come in the box (the option we used is pic 3) Hopefully the pics stay in the order I put them in, I hope this helps! 11 MONTH UPDATE: The polycarbonate panels have yellowed already and are brittle. One panel has a crack all the way across it and others have chipped on the edges so much they're no longer able to sit in the channels. I'm thinking 1 windy day will blow them out. My husband and dad have to tear it down in the fall and build their own on the same foundation. ... show more
