I jog and listen to music. I have several CDs that I like. I had a Sony walkman for two decades and it worked great. The two products I purchased from you are junk in my opinion. The stop and simply turn off while I am jogging

Beware using batteries, they will not last. I think this ran off batteries for 3 hours. A waste of batteries to continue. The power adapter is great to be able to run it without batteries, but the cable is so short I am frequently knocking it off the sofa, chair, or table. Luckily it has survived these too frequent drops to the floor. For that I will say it is durable. The only issue I really don't like is that it will undo the repeat setting if the unit is powered off. Every time I turn it back on I have to reset the repeat button. Of course I am strange in that I love to listen to certain songs over and over and over again. At the beginning it also used to start over from the first song in addition to deleting repeat. This was even more annoying. I wanted it to pick up where it left off and not to start the whole process over from the beginning every time I quit listening for any amount of time. It doesn't do that anymore for whatever reason. The player will also turn itself off after a certain period of time on pause or when the stop button is pressed. This again will reset the settings. Were CD players always this annoying? It has been so long since my youth I can't remember. I get annoyed using this player, but I still use it. Go figure. I will say it is very durable and the sound is decent, but remember this is Stone Age tech kids. This is for nostalgia and being able to play older music collections we never transferred or got rid of. Now off to find a matching tape deck.

This is a great cd player so far. I don't have one in my car and this is an affordable solution for those times I want to listen to my old music--and it came with the cable to connect it! Sound quality is good, equalizer presets help adjust things easily. The hold button on the back is key for avoiding the irritation of accidentally pressed buttons, especially having it accidentally turn on and drain the batteries while in your bag. The AC adapter is a great touch, meaning you can plug it in to any USB power source or use an adapter to a wall outlet. I haven't found a clear answer on whether it defaults to the batteries first or the plug, hopefully the plug (I had an issue with this being poorly designed on some speakers before). The earbuds that come with it work well so far, loud and clear. I haven't made use of the repeat settings (single track or you can program tracks A-B to play on a loop) but I can see that being handy in certain instances. Overall I am very pleased with this player so far!

Got this so hubby can listen to his book on CDs while driving his big truck. It works but the anti skip does not work w ell at all. And it eats battery, it would not play one book on CD through without battery needing replaced. Every time you stop it and start the sound goes way down. As far as quality of the product it feels well made and durable but has these problems.

I could not make this cd player skip! I intentionally tried very hard to get it to skip or shut down. Didn't succeed once. Jogging, running, waving it in the air, bumping it, jarring it. Impressed. On top of this the sound quality is great. I am not an audiophile, but even I could tell the difference. It sounds much better than my fairly average stereo. It comes packed with features for a portable personal unit. The EQ button lets you choose between BBS, classic, pop, jazz, rock, and no selection. Yes, there is a marked difference between the settings. The repeat button features repeat song, repeat cd, repeat intro, and shuffle. The unit came with decent earbuds, a cleaning cloth, a usb charge cord (no power plug), and an audio out line. I only have two criticisms of the cd player. One, the audio out line was a different color than the cd player. So minor. The other issue could be much more of a problem for some. It will not work with rechargeable batteries. When I tried to use them, the unit initially powered up and started playing music for about a minute or two. Then the whole unit just started randomly shutting down. Tried some battery changes and fiddling to no avail. Did not function. With how these types of cd players can suck down batteries, I can't believe that I am saying this, but, this unit is worth it. It is a great little cd player. Truly impressed!
