Works, thank you. If you have a parasitic battery drain and decide to buy a solar panel trickle charger, be sure to ONLY connect the panel to the battery, not the car and battery. I'm sure this fried my 20 year old alternator; however, the alternator needed to be replaced anyways. Good value for the cost, 1 hour job. 1) Remove the airbox/filter. 2) Loosen the belt with a 16mm socket and breaker bar (you can leave the belt on the water pump, no need to completely take it off) 3) Remove the rear 2 pin connector and positive cable (the other side connects to the starter) 4) Remove the upper and lower bolt on the alternator (long pin bolts, two of them). 5) Wiggle the alternator off, replace with new alternator, reverse steps 4, 3,2, 1. 6) Done. Also, if anyone knows of why the battery drains. Please let me know, I think it's due to the jerry-rig fix of the rear bumper tail light. Not exactly sure, but I that's the only thing I've done electrically. ... show more

I bought this maybe 4 1/2 months ago and it already is no good. The guy that checked it after I took it back out of the car said the bushings or whatever is not allowing it to even hold a charge so it is useless and short, such a short amount of time so I would tell you not to buy this unless you get a warranty.
