Customer Service is amazing! I was having trouble with my 3 in 1 button maker. Having ordered the maker from amazon, I wasn't sure where to reach out for help. I went to Caydo directly. They answered immediately. I sent them videos of the problem I was having. They responded quickly with what looked like personal video of the exact problem I was experiencing for the resolve. I didn't have to box everything up and send back like I originally thought I was going to have to do. The issue (user error) was quickly resolved and I learned how the machine is supposed to work so if there is future problems I can fix it. I am above impressed with the level of customer service Caydo provided. That's very hard to find these days!

The button makers was going great till it wasn't, the plate is malfunctioning already. It wont secure the back to the front any longer. Nothing online to help troubleshoot. They give you tools but nothing tells you what they are used for. We just missed the return window, so we cannot return. We have made less than 300 buttons before it stopped working. I wouldn't buy again or recommend if you plan to make a lot of buttons like we had. Our first market is in a few days and we wont have enough product to sell which is a bummer.

UPDATE: I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because after reading my review the Seller offered me a full refund and still keep the product. I have no criticism of the machine, only of the supplies provided. The machine itself works pretty good actually. As such, it's not right to ask for a refund, and still keep the machine, simply because there's a deficiency with the supplies. The Seller has agreed to look into providing pre-cut paper on 8.5x11" stock that can be run through a printer. They've also agreed to look into offering a carry case for the machine and all the accessories. The offer is impressive and I would not hesitate to buy from this Seller again. The instruction booklet that comes with the machine does not adequately describe how to use the machine. The videos in the listing however demonstrate everything perfectly. The remaining issue is with the paper supplies provided albeit the 58mm, 32mm or 25mm paper circles. There isn't a printer made that will accept paper in these sizes or shapes. As such, to make multiple copies of the same image is virtually impossible. What would be more appropriate would be for the Seller to provide 58mm, 32mm or 25mm perforated circle paper stock on 8.5" x 11" sheets giving the User the opportunity to print multiple copies of the same image. In summary, a well thought out system for custom button making except for one small detail, the inability to make multiple copies of the same image or even print one image through a printer.

What I learned from buying/using two different brands: 1. Buy the metal press (CAYDO in my case), not the plastic one (I started with a VEVOR) . I literally broke the lever in half on the VEVOR. Hence the second purchase. 2. Stick with the side slide model for interchangeability and the possibility for using custom shapes, like squares, rectangles, and hearts. But good luck finding replacement supplies once you run through the amount included with the initial purchase. 3. The 28mm (1-inch) round size is not terribly versatile and is the easiest to mess up. I have never had to restock them past the quantity included with both my machines. 4. Close second place is the 35mm (1.25 inch). I have an abundance of them and am confident I will never need to buy more. 5. The 58mm size is the most popular. Several options came with the Caydo. Besides pin backs (only came with metal ones), I got samples of 10 bottle openers, flat backs to make keychain pendants, award ribbons, and little desk bobbles ( use adhesive foam circles to keep these upright). I can only find replacement pin backs, and even then not the plastic ones. 6. Over the course of making over 500 circular buttons, the plastic pin backs are the easiest to use and I have never had one crack. 7. Overall. The side-slide version is the one to get if you want interchangeable sizes. 8. Get a magnet to install and remove the slide stop pin. A stronger magnet is preferred to hold the loose parts (pins, wrenches) when not in use. 9. All sizes have very tight tolerances for what can be crimped: paper thickness MATTERS. Even two mylar films are too thick. Even the special iridescent mylar fails often. Photo paper and even the thinnest card stock are too thick. 20-lb Copy paper is ideal. 10. Get a die cutter. Cutting individual circles is tedious. 11. It’s easy enough to maintain a steady inventory of 58mm fronts, but the ratio of fronts to backs gets out of whack quickly. It’s not obvious to me why that is. And I can’t find a source of various backs only, especially plastic backs.
