Great simple RC truck for my 2YO son, who loves trucks. This is simple enough for him to use. He doesn't use the reverse function much, he prefers to run after it and turn it and then send it on it's way. The reverse has a cam system that makes it turn (like a 3-point-turn) but it only turns very slightly on carpet. On wood/tile, it makes great turns. Again not a big deal since my son runs after it and turns it by hand anyway. I do wish the second button was just a rotate (a long time ago my daughter had an RC truck that one button just rotated in place, really easy to use) but I can't seem to find anything like that anymore. I recommend getting some rechargeable AAAs for the truck. We've had it a month and I've replaced the 4 AAAs in the truck at least 3x times. My son knows to turn the switch on, but never thinks to turn it off! The remote takes 2, and I've never had to replace them even though it's been left on much of the time. If you're ever not sure which of the 2 pieces has dead batteries--the truck will flash headlights when you turn the switch on. If you don't see that, the truck is dead. There's not a ton of power here--if you put something like a ball or a cup of water inside, it will go pretty slow. But hey it's a pretty durable and affordable truck that survives the abuse of a toddler. A great deal all around. ... show more

I like the product except that it seems incredibly touch and go if it’s going to work. We put batteries in it on Christmas and the next day it didn’t want to work. We got it there (who really knows how - flip all the switches, juggle it, shake it…something seemed to work). Over all, if you can get it to stay on it’s fun!!! ... show more

This toy uses batteries way too fast. There is no automatic off so the batteries run down even when not in use. This is unacceptable for a toddler toy. I would like to return it but I no longer have the packaging

I love how there isn’t a bunch of options for moving it around. It just goes back and forward. Turns a little when you press it back. This is prefect for a 3 year old. It goes slower then big RC cars so he can actually enjoy it with out it going crazy and getting lost under the couch.

This toy is a big hit and is already becoming a favorite; however, immediately out of the box, when we removed the screw to put batteries in, the part that the screw threads into either broke very easily or was maybe already broken, which means we have to tape the battery cover on in order to use the dump truck. Because of this, the batteries have fallen out multiple times already during use. It was a Christmas present bought ahead and can’t be returned at this point.
