Description

The Catstages by Nina Ottosson Rainy Day Puzzle & Play (Level 3) is the ultimate interactive cat toy that combines stimulation, treat dispensing, and enrichment into one engaging game. Designed for indoor cats, kittens, and pets, this cat puzzle features 14 hidden treat compartments plus 5 treat- filled pegs, holding up to ¼ cup of food, making it an ideal cat slow feeder to help support positive eating habits and minimize overeating. Smart cats will bat at the pegs, spin the wheel, and swivel the raindrop-shaped covers to uncover hidden treats, encouraging foraging instincts, problem-solving, and active play. This cat enrichment toy can help keep bored indoor cats entertained while minimizing destructive behaviors. For an easier game, place treats in the base compartments and under the spinning wheel, then leave the raindrops uncovered for simpler access. To increase difficulty, also place treats inside the pegs through the top holes, so cats must swivel the raindrops closed and slide the pegs back and forth until the treats fall into the base compartments below. As your cat learns the game, you can gradually increase the challenge. Built with a durable wood-and-plastic composite material and designed with no removable parts, this cat food puzzle is easy to clean (hand wash with warm soapy water) and made for long-lasting use. It also works as an engaging alternative to cat chew toys and can add excitement to mealtime and playtime for cats of all ages and sizes. This interactive cat toy promotes problem-solving skills, hunting behaviors, and foraging instincts—keeping your cat engaged, active, and stimulated. Always supervise your cat during play, and inspect regularly for damage. CLEAN USING WARM WATER AND MILD SOAP, RINSE THOROUGHLY.

    • A must for inquisitive cats!!!!
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
My cat Elton is a very intelligent boy. My super smart boy gets into trouble a lot...he needs a challenge. , This advance level has extra ways to add steps to get the treat! 2 days and I'm already putting treats in the moving cup. He has to move the leaf... then move the cup over the little bowl .. then move it out of the way to get the treat. . He's figured it out the second time around lol . But he absolutely loves it! It's part of our routine now! I say OK Elton and do you want to play with your puzzle? I put it down and he comes running!! he's a fun cat! He's my baby boy!! . It's suitable for dogs too! My corgi mix Jackie loves it! That little food hound and figured it out pretty fast too lol . I think it's a great value for the money it's very durable it's stable super engaging and it's really not that noisy the only thing is it slides around the floor a little bit so I would put it on carpet or a matter or something if you don't have carpet. That's what I do. I put it on a little mat I have three cats and a dog so I'm going to be buying more so I could have them parts of the house so each cat can play at the same time. And I'll give my Jackie corgi mix special doggie play time as well Lol My little cat Tabitha is a smart little girl she was so proud of herself when she figured it out the first time it was so cute!! she got a treat... , then she walked around meowing with her tail up like I found it I found a treat!!!! lol within the next day or two I will edit this review and put the toy itself with Elton figuring it out but here's the first puzzle toy I ever got him and he figured it out and five minutes not even lol I showed him once and he nailed it, which prompted me to find an actual puzzle toy. ... show more

    • Perfect for food-obsessed cats! 🐱
Color: Green Size: Treat Puzzle
My cat Marcy absolutely loves her puzzle! It keeps her entertained for about 15–20 minutes every day. She goes nuts when she hears me moving the pieces around to refill it. Overall very happy with the quality and the price! I’m planning on getting the cloud design next so she can have some variety

    • Good for mischievous kittens
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
I ordered this for three six month old kittens who get into all sorts of trouble. They are very food motivated so this is pretty amazing! So far so good with entertaining them. I’d give in 4.5 with a little bit knocked off for sliding across the floor. Otherwise, glad to have something to keep my little monsters occupied! ... show more

    • Kitten played with it immediately.
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
My female kitten immediately took to it after I filled it with treats for the first time and figured out how to open or slide the moving parts to get at them. She had no trouble moving the cups and raindrops, which slide and turn easily (but not so easily that it doesn't take them any effort). It is solidly built and has some heft to it, so it shouldn't be prone to sliding around on the floor or table. It also looks pleasing to my eyes, although my opinion on it doesn't matter. All in all, I'm very happy with it. ... show more

    • My cat can’t live without this.
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
I don’t think my 15 year old cat can live without this. He looks forward to the refill everyday. He will actually stand beside it and meow and look at me like, “what are you waiting for?” And sometimes when I leave it on the counter - he will stand where I normally place it for him and do the same. It’s his favorite part of the day. He has figured out all of the moving parts. Keeps him busy and his gnawing has lessened. I love it because he loves it so much! ... show more

    • Cat likes it, but doesn’t really work properly
Color: Green Size: Treat Puzzle
My cat loves this puzzle, but only accidentally figured out the steps. He usually just pushes the round piece until the leaf swings over. Unfortunately a few of the leaves get stuck or are too difficult for him to move.

    • Excellent for cats who inhale food
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
This is a great product. I used to put a bowl out for my indoor tabby. She would go through it rather quickly and then throw up about an hour or so later. This puzzle for her works great to slow down her eating and also challenges her. It’s a great product

    • Cats love this
Color: Gray Size: Treat Puzzle
Took a while for my cats to use this. Now I hear them at the puzzle all the time. They are so funny, watching them play at getting the treats.
