  • Great boots at a great price
Size: 14 Color: Dark Brown
I dont leave a lot of reviews but these boots are so great, I fet compelled to leave one. I have had them for almost 6 months now. I wear them everyday or at least 5-6 days a week. I work in construction and I put these boots through hell everyday. They step on nails, (never had a puncture), go through water puddles (never penetrates to my feet), kick heavy trash and debris and they hold up very solid. They are also comfortable. They broke in easy and they feel good on my feet. These are Great work boots at a great price. I highly reccomend them. ... show more

  • LOSE YOUR SOLE ON FIRST DAY!!!!
Size: 13 Wide Color: Dark Brown
I bought two pair of these boots: I used one pair intermittenltly during about a year. Not more than maybe once a month, driving a farm tractor. They fit fine, and felt comfy. After about a year, one of the soles on one of them started to let go at the seams. It was disappointing and indicative of shoddy/cheap workmanship. I opened the second box of exact pair, to use while I had the other pair repaired by shoemaker. ON THE FIRST DAY I wore the second pair, just while doing some off-road driving and walking, the left sole came COMPLETELY unglued en flapping around. It seems the sole is attached to to shoe by stitching ONLY at the toe! ANd only a few stitches (4?) at that. This is UNACCEPTABLE for any type of shoe!!!! These I would therefore consider PURE JUNK and worthless. Maybe if a shoemaker/repairman could stitch the entire sole, of glue really well, they could hold up. AS is, they should be avoided!!! ... show more

  • Tongue width much, much too narrow, lining quality has declined
Size: 10 Color: Dark Brown
Bought my first pair of these in 2013, and am still very well satisfied with that version. Lining then high quality and tongue width sufficient to prevent weed seeds, rocks, etc., from entering boot. Bought a second pair 3/20 so as to have boots to use while welt on initial pair is being repaired (stitching on one boot welt surrendered to time, so needs renewing). Unfortunately, manufacturer has since decreased tongue width so that even when boots fully laced, the tongue no longer covers socks at ankle height and outside material (rocks, sticks, weed seeds, chainsaw chips, etc,) can freely enter boots and cause much discomfort. Big mistake that recent manufacturing change. Still, boots fit well and boot tread material is great. It's just a pain that the boots are otherwise great except for the tongue design and manufacture. Also, there is a material decline in quality of the interior lining material now used on this boot, 5-2-20 Addendum. I exchanged my first pair and the just received replacement boots of this same model has a much more heavily padded tongue which materially (sic) improves boot tongue performance, evidently by pressing more on front of ankle and thereby keeping tongues from shifting laterally and allowing socks and ankle to become exposed. The tongue in the replacement boots is still substantially narrower than on my 2013 model, but the increased padding does seem to sufficiently solve the ankle and sock exposure problem seen in the first received 2020 pair. Also, the leather on the uppers of this replacement boot set is thicker than that on the first. Point is, there does currently seem to be considerable variability in the quality of manufacture of these boots. Therefore, if you do encounter a manufacturing defect in this boot model the first time arounf, there is some chance a return and replacement might provide you a better, more acceptable boot. ... show more

  • Great boots for the money
Size: 13 Wide Color: Dark Brown
Great boots for the money. I use wolverines at work and love them. I decided to try and save a few bucks for home use. First 2 weeks were horrible, I started to regret my decision. But after they were broken in they are so comfortable I wear them more than my regular shoes. I'm just courious how long they will last I've had them 2 months and do quite a bit of work around the house. I've beat them up pretty good. I even took them to the snow and they held up good for a few hours they did start letting some water in after the 3 hour mark but they are not water proof so I'm happy they kept my feet dry for as long as they did. Overal good buy and depending on how long they last I will be buying more. Also they seem to run true to size i wear 13s and that's what I ordered and they fit great I did buy the soft toe ones ... show more

  • These boots are decent, but could be better.
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown
I purchased these for work last November. I wear them about 10-12 hours a day doing restorative landscaping. The work is rough on my boots, and I generally wear through one pair of boots every year. So far they’re holding up. The only issue I had was that one of the boots they sent me looked scuffed and worn. There was a heavy crease/wrinkling along the top where the shoe creases when you step. The one boot looked used.. but because I figured I’d be scuffing them up in no time anyway I decided to hold on to them. I will be ordering another pair in November, hopefully they’re better than the last ones. ... show more

  • Not so comfortable after all
Size: 7.5 Color: Dark Brown
I really believed that these boots were going to be the ones, but for what I paid for they are not worth it. My first impression was they are way too stiff! I gave it a chance and wore them for three weeks straight hoping to break them in, but the more I wore them the more my feet hurt. Sadly, they are sitting on my shelf collecting dust. Take a chance if you dare, or get something you already know is good for you. ... show more

  • Size indicated does in fact match your measurements
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown
Although Amazon has made clothes shopping easier with their Wardrobe program, it is still an iffy proposition to order boots online. However, the Caterpillar boots ended up fitting perfectly. I suspected the first time I tried them that the toe area was too large, but when I actually wore them in a work situation, they felt like I had normal street shoes on. I've used them for construction work and hiking, and in both situations they are very comfortable. I wear a size 9.5 and at least for me, they are a match. I did end up adding arch supports since they are a bit flat on the bottom, but overall they work. ... show more

  • Painful
Size: 9 Color: Dark Brown
Where the tongue meets the toe, it cuts right across the top of your foot, after 5 minutes I had to take them off, VERY uncomfortable.....and painful. I am also in doubt about it being a steel toe, applying minimal pressure I was able to push the toe of the boot in, if something large lands on my foot, such an a drive axle, I do not think it would protect my toes at all. Returning them. ... show more
