    • One of the Kittens Plays Until They BOTH Run Out of Batteries

I had low expectations but high hopes for this and was pleasantly surprised. My kittens and cat love it - one will play nonstop until their (both his and the toy's) batteries run out. Good to know: - It is a little cumbersome and inelegant to attach toys to - they expect you to literally just tie them on. My husband secured a fastener with a clip that allows for quicker change-outs to give them variety. - It takes a surprising amount of time to charge for what it is and how much runtime you get. It does have a decent runtime of 90 minutes, but it takes hours to charge to get to that point. - We have thick door frames (weird) because our house is old, and it took the tension holder to max capacity to get it onto our door frame! If you have more modern doors, you'll be fine. Our house was built in the 1920s - if yours was, or is older, that may be a flaw or odd thing you run into. - It isn't loud, but it is noticeable. I set it up on a door frame adjacent to my office to occupy them while I was working - it was fine, but I wouldn't want it to be on while I was on a call unless I closed my door. I really like: - That it varies its movements to maintain the cats' engagement. - That it doesn't just violently whip around too quickly so they get smacked with whatever is attached to it - that is a big flaw with a lot of automated toys. - It's pretty darn durable! One of them was hanging from the toy and it didn't break the cord or harm the motor. - It ended up being a great value for the cost to help with their enrichment and healthy energy expenditure, especially on long workdays! ... show more

My cat rarely likes toys I buy for her so most are given to my daughter for her cats. Baby loves this one. Even when it has stopped running I find her pulling on it. Why did you pick this product vs others?: My cat is obsessed with this toy. I love it because it’s has a 4 hr play time and 2 hr to full charge. It does not damage the area you hook it too and even if I just leave it up and off my cat still enjoys playing with it!

As simple as it appears, it took a little bit to figure out even with the manual. Overall, my cat loved it when he played with it. The battery lasted about a week with light use. Quality is precent decent because the clamp is quite sturdy and I like the fact that there are replacement attachments.
