I don't know what it is about little puff balls but my cat just loves playing with them. I use the little gun or throw the balls and she will chase the heck out of them. Or I can throw them at her and she will bat them or wrestle with them. I read that an earlier version of this kit had a gun that was faulty. Well I think the seller figured out that this fragile toy gun was poorly made so now they include 4 little rubber tiny rubber bands that are to be put around the plunger shaft of the gun. Use all 4. Mine will shot a ball about 15 ft. which is enough to get a good chase going.

My cat loves the colorful toy balls, and will chase them around all on his own. The launcher is a bit loud, even with the o-ring to dampen it. That said, it's fun to launch cat toys across the room and watch him run after them.

I loved that this product came with 80 pom poms and 2 guns. I keep both loaded with a pile of poms nearby when my cat is bored or looking for entertainment. I enjoy shooting them and she loves chasing them and carrying these poms around. Simple, yet impressive shooting distance. Only downfall is even with the silencer rubber bands, it is still noisy when the gun shoots the poms. I imagine you could layer multiple silencers to help with this, but my cat doesn't mind too much. It's a toy I can also use for fun shooting friends too. (Kind of like nerf.) I really liked the construction of the guns (not flimsy or cheap and no issues.) Titter and I are happy! :]

The media could not be loaded. It's hard to get it to pull back, it hurts my fingers to pull on it, and doesn't always stay out. I wouldn't use it for more than a few minutes because it really hurts my fingers when I pull the yellow peice back. I got it because I have scoliosis and didn't want to hurt my back with how much my cat likes to play fetch, but it hurts my fingers so much it's not worth it. It shoots its own pompoms well, but the sparkely yellow ball shoots farther(2nd ball shown in video) and a slightly larger than the yellow ball (also a pompom, but didn't come with the toy) didn't shoot very far. I then shot a soccer ball(because why not) and it was too large and only moved forward and didnt come out, so if you get your own balls be sure they will fit. I love the sparkely yellow one and so does my kitten. It shoots better and he loves the ball more in general. Probably because it sparkles and has a cool texture. I shot them from smallest(the one that went with the product) to biggest. I also tried his favorite spring/coil toy and those didn't shoot well, just fell out, didn't video it. Also: it says to rate motion detection and remote control and durability. Doesn't have motion detection or remote control? Though that would be nice. From what I can tell it's durable, just hurts to use.

This was one of my cats Christmas gifts. I have a cat that likes to play fetch so I figured this would be a big hit. It's a cute idea and I'm happy that it came with so many little balls (which are now all over the place lol) the only draw back to it is when you launch the ball the noise it makes might scare a timid cat. My cat was scared at first but then got used to it. This is a cute little gift and reasonably priced.

I bought this as a present for my daughter, after purchasing something similar for my cats. One of my cats are obsessed with this toy. He tries to open the bag and will bring the bag I have it in to me to shoot the poms. This one came in a cute box to store it in and much nicer than mine. My daughter and her cat loved it. This toy is ThymeLord Blu approved. I may need to get another so I have a cute box and extra gun.

My cat loves the little puff ball toys. She has many around that she hides and hunts. She even plays "baseball" with me batting at them when I pitch to her. These balls in comparison are fluffy without any weight to them. I can roll them tight in my palms to make them a little loftier, but they're not as well liked by her. The shooting "guns" are junk. You put a ball inside and push it back to "cock" it and when you pull the trigger, the ball barely shoots out and it always goes sharp to the left (both guns). I don't recommend wasting money on this junk.
