This is a roll of decent quality adhesive backed cat carpeting that can be used for various applications. Iām very satisfied with this. Iāve used this to upgrade cat shelves that came with very poor quality felted carpeting, and/or that was missing carpeting/grip tape to a usable state. Iāve also used this on top of a cat scratching tower that my kitties love to try to climb, but find it difficult to scale the top as there was nothing to grab hold of. The manufacturer used to sell a wee perch to go on top for a little less than 20 dollars, but from what Iām told it suffered the same issue. Iāve always been meaning to attach a small square of carpet to the top, and now itās finally done. (Although I do think it would look better in the beige color, rather than grey. I may purchase a length of the beige in the future, depending on how well this holds up, and if the kitties take to it.) I would definitely recommend purchasing this if you are looking for something along the same lines - basically, to pimp out cat-specific products or to turn regular shelves into ācat shelvesā or as a building tool to use for constructing a ācat wall.ā For ācatificationā essentially, as Jackson Galaxy likes to refer to it. So five stars for those uses. I have no idea how well this would work on the suggested use, to protect your couch from kitty claws. Iām not sure I see that working out as well, due to the adhesive. Seems like it could be messy, or possibly mar the upholstery. I have no idea - I bought a leather couch so as to avoid that issue entirely. Iād probably go that route, or get a daybed if I wanted to stay away from animal products, evoke a more bogemian aesthetic and/or a to be a bit more frugal. (If you canāt tell, I often wish Iād gone with the daybed instead. Itās smarter all around, and likely way more comfyā¦but this works too. But sticking adhesive carpet to your standard type couch? Nah, Iām not seeing it.) All in all though, Iād recommend this product if youāre handy, youāve got kitties you love, and a bit of creativity. šš»

As a cat owner, you never know what they will decide to scratch up in the house. As it turned out, the new couch, chair and ottoman caught the eye of our cat. I came across this furniture protector and decided to give it a try. First of all, no matter how many color options are provided (and there were three), it seems like it would be impossible to perfectly match a piece of furniture to be covered. I expected that, and the best I could say is that we are in the same color family with regards to matching colors. It looks fine, and I am ok with how everything turned out. The material seems thick enough, and I like the self-adhesive backing on the material. There are even guide markers on the back to assist with cutting the material in uniform strip sizes. I misaligned a portion of the material when attaching, and when I tried to reattach it, the stickiness went away. Thankfully, there are included double-sided pieces of tape to assist with reattaching the material. There are also some twisty push pins included in the package, but I did not feel the need to use them. I feel good about this material protecting the furniture. If I had one gripe about the product, it would be that there were no instructions on how to mount it to the furniture. Had I not gone back to the photos on the app, I wouldn't have even noticed that it had a self-adhesive backing through pulling off a clear film. I appreciate the inclusion of instructions, and they would have been nice to have for this furniture protector. The installation was quick and easy, and that cat watched me the entire way. I am sure this will be tested soon enough, and time will tell how it will hold up.

I like the furniture cloth material is not to thick or to thin. It is medium in its thickness. I found it to stick very well on my couch. My cats have really ripped it up and this covers it well. I like it is fairly easy to cut and sticks on good. I could mold it to places I want covered. It looks better and blends well with the color of my couch. It a nice alturnitive if you donāt want to replace your furniture. I just wished I would have found it before they ripped it up. The sticky on the back is covered by a clear piece of plastic, it is a little hard to get off once you have cut the material. Just keep picking at it and will come off. There is lines on the back that helped with my measurements. It came with extra double sided tape if you need it. I did not. There are 8 upholstery tacks enclosed if I need them later. I have never done this before and it was fairly simple for me to do. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

I applaud whoever came up with this idea. It sticks pretty well and comes with additional adhesive for thise trickier spots. The best part is you get a decent amount of adhesive. I would've liked a color closer to my couch other than beige, but it's not an awful match. Size wise, it's not as wide as I would've liked but functionally you can cut it to the size you need. Holds up to my cats claws too. Decently priced overall.

My Labrador Retriever is a scratcher who has damaged and destroyed a few rugs. This rug was the latest victim. Instead of throwing it out, we decided to use this furniture protector. It was very easy to attach and the adhesive keeps it attached to the rug beneath it well. So far the dog has neither damaged this protector nor peeled it off. The color is also nice and neutral. Great inexpensive way to save damaged rugs and other furniture! It can also be cut into smaller size easily with household scissors.
