I will start by saying I love this backpack! It definitely gives more room than the typical bubble-type backpacks and my cat seems way more comfortable in it. It is also easier to get him inside of it…in fact, he actually gets in himself when I leave it on the floor. It feels sturdy, I don’t notice him moving around while carrying it. While it is comfortable to carry on your back, it is slightly awkward going through smaller spaces (doorways, hallways, etc). There is a piece inside on the bottom that separates from the backpack for easy cleaning (I also use a towel since my cat gets carsick sometimes). There is also a strap to connect to a harness to secure your cat in (not pictured-the cat pictured is wearing a leash). When not in use, it folds down and the backpack can be zipped inside the see-through sides so it takes up no room to store. The only down side to this backpack is the assembly-the zippers are somewhat difficult to connect as you have to hold the pieces at an awkward angle to connect them. The zippers also get caught easily, so in some places it took several tries to get it to zip smoothly, so if you have issues with hand function this would not be easy to put together. Ordered for my puppy as I was intrigued with the design and look of this carrier. It was hard to zip the sides together. I do not plan to remove the sides to store. Due to it was annoying to zip together. My puppy does not mind the carrier. It is hard to use a backpack. Being hard to take on and off with concern of the animal tumbling around. I used it as a portable crate. If my puppy needed crated while I was doing something. I would set her next to me and she would nap. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s got a bunch of room if you couldn’t tell already! Box like style provides it with enough room for the cat to move around in. The clear sides provide the cat great view of the scenery around them. Lots of air flow.
