This is a decent collapsible cat carrier, especially for smaller cats or kittens. It’s lightweight and easy to set up, and the collapsible design makes it convenient to store when it’s not in use. It has a shoulder strap as well as handles, but myself, I found the handles easier to use. I would say it’s best suited for smaller cats and shorter trips. Larger cats may feel a bit cramped, and it’s probably not the best option for extended travel or situations where you need something very sturdy. That said, it can still be really useful in other situations. Even with a slightly larger cat, it works well as a temporary way to corral them - almost like a little kitty playpen. For example, it’s handy if you have service people at the house and doors need to stay open for a while, and you want to keep your cat safely contained. Overall it’s a useful and convenient option for certain situations, though for regular vet visits or longer trips I still prefer a hard-sided carrier.

This is a lightweight, soft fabric pet carrier. It zips down flat for easy storage, and comes back together easily. The ends are held together only by the zipper, so there is not a lot of hard structure to the unit. The bottom is a fabric covered lightweight cardboard or some other similar material. This bottom fabric cover can be removed for washing. When the carrier initially arrived, there was a strong factory odor. I sat the carrier outdoors for an afternoon to air out, and that seemed to be better to my nose. Though cats sense of smell is much more heightened, so if they are not liking the carrier, that could be one reason. While the description says it is a Large size and holds up to 20lbs, most cats anywhere near that size will find this carrier to be a bit small. While they may be able to fit, they are not going to be comfortable for any length of time. One of my cats is 13 lbs and has a large frame. I would not really ever attempt transporting her using this carrier unless it was an emergency situation due to the cramped size. I did use this for transporting my 5lb kitten to and from the vet recently. My kitten is a little wild and doesn't like being trapped in small spaces, so she began clawing at the fabric. While she did not escape, and I think it would be difficult for her to do so, there was noticeable wear on the fabric after just a single use. This caused the zipper to not want to operate quite as smoothly due to the fabric frays that kept getting caught. This carrier is fine for smaller cats or dogs who remain calm and will not attempt to get out. The overall durability is a bit questionable since there was visible fraying after 20 minutes of use by my kitten. Though this item is being offered at a budget friendly price of $16.87 that I feel matches the overall quality.

This is a very nice high quality cat carrier for a terrific price! The design is very user friendly and comes with many nice features. You can put your cat in from the front, back, or top openings, which makes it super convenient. I prefer to put my cat in from the top opening because I can do this by myself by setting the carrier on the floor or table. The size is perfect for an average sized cat. This carrier also has two pockets for treats, etc. which is very handy. I bought this carrier to replace my old metal carrier. My cat would always hear me get out her old one and run and hide. This one is so quiet so she doesn't hear me coming now. I also like the removable bottom of the carrier. It is nice and soft so your pet stays cozy. It even has a little cushion inside of the fabric to offer extra comfort. The handles are attached by nice metal hardware and all the zippers work effortlessly. This is seriously nice quality... way more than I was expecting for this great price! Five stars!
