  • A must for all cat sizes
Color: Blue-Green
I have three cats. Small, medium, and large. (Siberian Kitten/still little, a black Smokie/siamese build/touch me but don't touch me type, and a half main coon breed. He is a big boy but pure muscle lol) I use this for ear time. I am blessed with very loveable cats. Very loveable. They bounce back after "care" time for those cuddles. They never bite me (unless play time) but my problem is... the freak out of water. The claws. The "don't hold me down" this net type item is a pure blessing. I can easily put it over them and then clean their ears. My kitten is super ... hairy. His name is Thor but for right now we call him squirrel. That fluffy tail y'all!!! That hairy butt ... hairy legs. A kitten that is learning the cat litter box lol *looks off into the distance for a moment and wipes away a tear* so I had this for a while... delayed review for sure! But with this kitten ... was a true test of this item. This item can fit my big back 5 year old "just let me be, old man" cat ... but it can also trap a very hyper kitten. One that I have to trap to wash his butt and now to trapping him to shave his butt, some of his tail and back legs. Ear cleaning.... I open the back just enough where he is confused so his legs stretch out into the netting while I shave this delicate area. If anyone knows this breed... you will never reach the skin when shaving. All fluff. All confusing.... get what you can get so they can lick/maintain their issues lol this net takes on claws like a pro. And my cats still love me after so I take that as it is gentle on them. Can also pat them down with a towel while they are in it. Because we all know once we let them out... they are gone for a moment to reclaim their spirit again lol I reallllly love this product. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
Color: White-Green
I had low expectations for this product but ended up surprised with how well it worked. Granted every cat is different and you don't know how they will react. We have 3 different size cats with 3 different personalities. And still we were able to bathe all 3 with this product. The cat that is our scaredy-cat, we had to hold her wrapped in a towel then slowly put this on over her head and work it down her body. But the other 2 we were able to put it on like you would put a shirt on them. I made sure to close the front part where you could put their front legs through for nail cutting first. We didn't fill the tub. We didn't put the plug in, just let the water run and poured the water over them. I would recommend this product (with the expectation that every cat's reaction is going to be different). Just have patience. It was worth it. ... show more

  • Doesn't work on scaredy cats.
Color: White- Black
We gave this a try a few times. It was a disaster every time. Used on a 12 lb cat. The first time, we thought we cinched it well enough, but the cat backed out of it. The fastener doesn't stay on. They slipped off. I did think about knotting the ties behind the fasteners, but it felt a bit dangerous. We might have needed the entire length of the ties to widen the holes enough. The second time, we made knots once it was cinched just tight enough that the cat wouldn't get out. But, somehow, with all the kicking and wriggling, the cat managed to loosen the knots. You might think we're bad at tying knots, but I didn't think the cat would be Houdini. The third time actually took several tries. He kept getting loose before we could get it on. Once we had it on, it was impossible to get one paw out without him trying to slip completely out of whichever hole we loosened. Did I mention that we're both all scratched up? It was a disaster because we watched him flail and try to injure himself. He couldn't walk, but he launched himself forward two feet at a time in that bag. Tightening it wasn't of any use, either, as it just made him wriggle harder. I'm glad we tested it out of the water, because he would have drowned himself if I hadn't tried without the water. I ended up having to hold him up off the floor of the bath while my daughter poured soapy water over his body. That was almost impossible as he still had room to kick, scratch and twist. If it wasn't a necessary task, we would have let him out right away. But, the job had to get done. We will never use it again, though. I wouldn't use this on a scaredy cat and I wouldn't think it's necessary for an already easy-going cat. ... show more

  • Why not give it a try?
Color: White-Green
My cat is always calm and lets me move her around. But I was surprised how quick and crazy she was when water hit her, perhaps she moved too much, maybe I didn’t make it tight enough. It worked for a good few minutes before she escaped. Her claws did not scratch through so that’s good. It’s a perfect product idea I wish it was easier for cats to enjoy but why not give it a try. ... show more

  • A decent idea that doesn't quite pan out all the time
Color: Blue-Orange
I've tried this so far with both of my cats, one of whom is very chill and friendly ("S"). The other cat ("M") is the sort who will cry and hiss and growl if you so much as pick her up, let alone try to clip her nails or, god forbid, bathe her. Experience with S: - pretty easy from the get go. Getting him in the bag wasn't hard at all, he was purring most of the time and he seemed mostly confused as to why I was putting him into a bag (head empty, no thoughts). Once in the bag, he flopped and purred and was very chilled out. - he did not like the bath. I did not expect him to like the bath. But the bag did keep him contained and we had no issues with him trying to escape, and he seemed unhappy but not desperately so. - taking him out of the bag to dry him was An Experience™. Having a writhing, dripping wet, partially soapy cat being basically reverse birthed out of the bag (as they cannot fit their bodies through the head hole) is just not a fun time. He also was, as previously mentioned, still soapy so I had to rinse him a bit again which he wasn't a fan of. -overall rating: 4/5, it did help but it wasn't a miracle by any means. Experience with M: - a nightmare from the get go. Getting her in the bag was an extremely difficult experience, and took a lot of coaxing and treats (thank god for Churu). Once in the bag, she was very unhappy. No purring, and occasional hissing, especially once the bag was getting closed up. - she also did not like the bath, surprise of surprises. The bag did keep her contained. We also did notice more issues, probably because she was struggling so much more: her claws kept getting stuck in the mesh, her limbs poked through the head hole, and she kept managing to almost nearly escape (I will note here that she is quite a bit smaller than S, and the bag was too big for her in general). - again, we had to reverse birth her out of the bag to dry her. Despite being wiser from the first experience and taking care to rinse her thoroughly while still in the bag, she was still fairly soapy all around and had to be rinsed again. Not a good time as she was not only writhing, but growling, hissing, and desperately trying to exit the tub. This may be an issue with the bag's design in general, which makes it kind of frustrating to use for bathing as it necessitates letting the cat out of the bag before the washing process is fully over. - overall rating: 3/5, it helped a bit but there was a lot of extra struggling specifically due to the bag. In the end, this is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We will probably be using it again for S, but are rethinking whether it will work for M or whether we might need to do something else for her (or maybe use this in conjunction with something else). I feel that for the stress this would cause most cats, it doesn't seem worth it for just clipping nails but for things like giving medication or bathing, it might be worth a shot to see if your cat is amenable to it. Definitely go slow and don't force your kitties into it. ... show more

Color: Blue-Green
Very good product wish it was a little bigger for fatter cats but with the head covered in the mess part my cat stays real calm so I can clip his nails. I definitely would buy this product again
