Can watercolor pencils be used as ordinary coloring pencils? They are fine to use dry just as you would with coloring pencils. They are soft and blend and layer easily. I’m doing pyrography, are these pencils suitable for applying color and can they be used directly onto canvas? Yes - they are fine to use with pyrography and for using directly onto canvas.
