I absolutely love this watch. I asked if it was too big for a woman before I purchased it. I really think it's perfect for men or women (unless you really like "dainty" watches). I had a women's Armitron watch that I liked, but whenever I needed to change the time or anything else it was a nightmare figuring out how to do it. This watch is so easy to change anything on it. The Top Left button is "A" Top right "B" Left bottom "C" and Right bottom "D". That's all you need to know in order to make changes. Once you've done it you find out how easy it is. I accidentally changed it to 24 hr time (military time) one day and freaked out.....then found that all I had to do is hit the Bottom "D" button. What could be easier? It also has a button that lights up the face that really comes in handy. What I like the most is the Day, Date, Year, and Time are all shown on the face, and they are large enough to see easily. This watch has everything I was looking for....an inexpensive watch that's easy to use, lights up, has all the information I need on the face, and easy to see letters and numbers. ... show more

    • The Reason I Bought This Watch and It Is Worth Every Penny.
The reasons I bought this watch; first, I didn't want to spend too much money; second, I wanted a watch that matched the colors of my car silver/black/grey; third, I wanted a watch that was water proof; fourth, I wanted a watch that I could see very easily in day light/shade/or other; fifth, I wanted a watch that had large enough numbers to read; sixth, I wanted a watch that had month/day-of-the-week/date-of-the-month and year. Fortunately, this watch covers all these requirements. This is not a fancy watch, it was not designed to be that way, it is a casual style and it is simply easy to read. Issues that I have with this watch: the first is the band needs to be slightly longer. I have a 7.5 inch/19.05cm wrist and the band is long enough to reach around my wrist comfortably with1.3 inches / 3.5cm to spare, I would not mind having at least 1/2 inch / 13mm more. Despite this issue, I can live with it. Another issue that I have is that at certain angles and in a certain light it is hard to see the numbers; the good news is, that is not a bad thing, it is a minor inconvenience, just have to move the watch ever so slightly and into a different light or shade. But, overall, I am very happy with this watch and glade I bought it. It is worth every penny. ... show more

    • I've owned three. Great watch, but weak band.
Love the watch. Has nice features like stopwatch, dual time zone and military time at a push of the button and a clean face with an easy to read display. I like the cleaner less gimmicky look and my wife likes the look. This one came with a ten year battery, and was a great buy at Amazon's price of $14. Visited my cousin and he had the exact same watch and also really liked it. I have gone swimming with it and no problem. So why only four stars? Because this is the third one I've owned and the band is the weak spot. I will never get ten years out of the battery because the band will break in five years or less. My cousin was on his second or third one also. Just like me, he liked the watch, but the band failed. I hope this one has better materials in the band, but at $14, assuming it does last 4 or 5 years, I won't be too upset. ... show more

Really like this watch. Large full-face screen and numbers; light weight; screen lighting feature for night viewing works great. Watch has all the features you need and looks good as well. The one drawback, from past experience with this model Casio: Expect the rubber watchband to crack and break within 18 to 24 months. The special design of this watchband means you cannot replace it with a standard "pinned" style watchband. You will be faced with the decision to order a new specialized band for this model Casio watch, or else buy the whole watch NEW for about the same price as the band alone. Most folks just buy the whole watch again and discard the fully functioning old one with the broken band. Bottom line: An excellent watch that is so cheap (the price of 3 Starbucks Lattes) you treat it as disposable and replace it every couple years when the band breaks. ... show more

This watch has a nice large display with most information you need to know always displayed without any movement of buttons.10 year battery pays for the watch both in money and no hassle.Can swim or shower with watch on and no worry,good to 165 feet.Looks cool and not bulky like 99% of other watches out there.Even though the band may cost as much as the watch to replace and most likely will break or crack well before the watch or battery goes,its held on by little screws instead of pins and does not wiggle around,feels smooth,wont rust or hold water,has closer adjusting holes and more of them.Also band has plastic buckle that wont tarnish or rust and the last greatest part of the band is it has a lock bump near the end so the loop doesnt slide off like every other irritating band ive had prevoiuosly.Back to the watch itself,its very sensable with snooze alarm option,hourly chime,stopwatch,specific day alarm,dual time zones and a bright LED light thats so bright and uses very little power.Im impressed at $15.00-$21.00,GREAT. ... show more

    • Like Casio watches. Have used them for many years and still will into the future.
I have purchased Casio watches for years. I only need a simple watch with just a few features. This watch has the features I want and the price is reasonable. As noted in other reviews, my biggest problem with Casio watches is that the bands will break long before the watch stops working. However, at this price point I don't have a big problem with that as I just buy another watch and toss the old one. Once in awhile I can find a replacement band at a reasonable price, but if not it's not a big deal to get a new one. I'm tough on watches sometimes, so I don't like spending a lot of money on a watch just to ruin it. And I don't need to have my watch make a fashion statement. The Casios are tough enough for what I need and if they scratch a little, I don't mind as long as they still keep time and I can read the dial. ... show more

I have a similar but older model Casio watch that I purchased more than 10 years ago. The strap broke recently from wear & tear at the gym. The replacement strap (not Casio) is a bit stiff and uncomfortable. So I purchased this newer model. The new design with metal rim looks very stylish, it is comfortable to wear, and has even better accuracy than the older version. ... show more

    • Love the durability, large font, and usability
I loved this watch so much that I got it a second time. It's got a large face that puts the current time and day of the week in large font so that it's easy to read. It's waterproof (I've taken it swimming several times), it's got a second time zone, stop watch, alarm, chime, and indiglo style backlight. It's awesome. After about 3 years of hard use, the rubber band started to crack so i replaced it, but i find that after about 3 years, all of my watches have the same problem. The battery and the electronics are fine and can probably go 10 years like the manufacturer states. but it's just easier to buy a new watch than to replace the band ... show more
