Description

Whether you're looking for something to wear to the office, something for your next adventure, or everyday wear, your new watch is waiting. For durability, toughness, and classic style, our watches withstand nearly any adventure you can think of. Brand Story CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio- controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); From the Manufacturer The new W735H series offer many outstanding functions. At the touch of a button, the display can be brightly illuminated in a fashionable color. A second location time can be set and called up. Ideal if you frequently make overseas calls. Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 24 hours. For fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at a preset time. They The time can be set to the nearest second and up to 24 hours in advance - Ideal for people who need to take medicines every day or those who do interval training. The daily alarm reminds you of events that recur every day, by emitting an audible signal at the set time. The vibration alarm discreetly reminds you of important appointments, without emitting a loud signal. The button tones for using the mode button can be turned off. This means that the watch no longer beeps when switching from one function to another. Preset alarm or countdown timers remain active when the button tones are deactivated. Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date. Times can be displayed in either a 12-hour or 24-hour format. The surface of the watch glass is domed. This offers a high level of stability and resistance against pressure. Natural resin is the ideal material for wrist straps thanks to its extremely durable and flexible properties. 10 years, 1 battery. Newly developed electronics ensure significantly lower energy consumption. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling: the watch is water resistant to 10 bar / 100 meters. The meters value does not relate to a diving depth but to the air pressure used in the course of the water resistance test. (ISO 2281) See more

  • vibration alarm, can fit thin lady wrist
I bought this watch only for the silent vibration alarm option. I couldn't find a similarly priced watch for women, so I took a chance and bought this man's watch. It actually fits okay, although the band is on the 2nd to last notch. I don't mind the somewhat chunky look. You can set a single alarm that is silent and vibrates. I have a kid who doesn't sleep well and sometimes I end up moving to his bed in the middle of the night. I needed something to quietly wake me up about 5 minutes before my real alarm (on my cell phone) is set to go off, so I could sneak away without waking up my son. It works well! The vibration didn't wake me up one morning (it was a particularly rough night, lol!), but its usually just enough to wake me up. ... show more

  • Best Casio watch out there for your money! A budget minded G Shock from Casio.
Finally, an affordable G Shock ! Seriously, I own several Casio GShock watches, but I was looking for something rugged enough to replace a mudman that was looking rough from the wear of my daily activity over the last 5 years. This watch had the look, the buttons are easier to activate, a vibration alarm built into it, slightly larger display of time than the mudman and it was available for right at twenty bucks. I figured I could buy 3 to 4 of these for the cost of another mudman so why not give one a try. After several months of daily wear, I haven't found that the easier to push buttons have lead to any inadvertent button activation. The light button is a lot easier to activate when you want too. The watch has held up very well to being banged around on rough surfaces, heat, sweat, cold ect. What I have found is that the face of the watch uses a material that is most likely less scratch resistant than the average G-shock, but it's also closer to being flush than a G Shock so that maybe deceiving. After 6 months of wear, I have two very small scratches on the watch face. Other than that, no wear and tear concerns. I do wish Casio would have stepped up to the metal buckle/clasp on the band, it's the only "shortfall" of the watch design compared to a G Shock that I would have appreciated. The plastic buckle/clasp has held up fine so far but the metal buckle clasp on G Shock watches feels and appears to be substantially more rugged/durable. If you are an active person in your line of work, Law Enforcement/Firefighter/Military/Hardworking American, and you are looking for a nice durable digital watch, this is the watch you've been hunting for. ... show more

  • Excellent value for the price
This is my favorite daily watch. Vibrations are enough to wake you from a deep sleep. Face is easy to read in any light and dark with the light. For the price you don't have to worry about beating it up, it's waterproof so no worries there, and with a 10-year battery you can choose to get a new one installed or just buy a new watch. My only suggestion is to provide an option for multiple daily alarms and a snooze function. Note that the watch is the same form factor as the G-Shock watches, so may not be as comfortable for some with smaller wrists. For my 8" wrist it is the perfect size. If you are like me a sleep with a watch on it takes some time getting use to the bigger watch, but convenience of a vibrating alarm so you don't wake your partner is worth it. You likely will not wear it with a evening attire, but for a daily get-it-done watch the Casio W735 series cannot be beat for the price. ... show more

  • Great cheap watch, concerning potential problem
I bought this watch looking for a cheap but reliable way to get into wearing watches again, mission accomplished. When I received the watch, there was a tiny but irritating point on the watch latch (inside where my wrist rubs against it) that caused a lot of discomfort. I simply sanded down the point and all was well. Unfortunately more than a year later I have a very serious issue. I'm not sure what triggered the problem but when I was at work and hit the watch on accident against metal, I noticed a few hours later the display was fading. Over a few minutes it began to fade almost to nothing, simply changing modes brought the display back to full darkness/correct the fade. A day later it has begun to fade yet again, around the same time as yesterday. I can't find a fix for this in my online searches. I'm unsure if its the battery life as switching from say time display to alarm will fix the issue. If it were a battery issue I'd expect it to die after switching between modes constantly. I may have to either buy another watch or replace the battery in hopes that fixes the problem... Overall it scratches fairly easy but its cheap, plastic, and black so I don't care if it takes a beating. Its features are very basic and the light works as expected. If I didn't have this bizarre luminating of the numbers issue after a year I'd give this a 5/5. ... show more
