    • The one I always wanted in the 80s then never got around to it.

This is a cool part of Casio's history. I wanted one as a kid but never had one, then later got a small collection of G-shocks, and multi-sensor Pro-Treks, always buying giant technical ones for their cool styling. I finally ordered this one as a fun every day watch and I love it. It's super light weight and slim, but the feel is still high in precision. It's got Casio's classic styling but understated with the reversed display and only has the calculator markings and no face markings and "WR." It may cost the same or even less than it did in the 80s, and the navy blue looks great. It's hard to go wrong for the price, and every function works perfectly with tiny but usable control buttons. The reversed display is difficult to see in low light but always seems visible when angled to the nearest light source. A back-light would be nice, but it's an excellent classic watch at an unbeatable price. Perfect! Edit: The description lists the band's width as 24mm, which is the overall width. The width at the Spring Bars if you are replacing the band is 20mm. ... show more

Love the retro looks and gets TONS of compliments and inquiries. The beige one can also be worn with greys. Only drawback of the color choice watches is that the negative display can be a challenge to see in certain light situations and no back light to assist.

I already own more than a dozen Casio watches, but something about the old school calculator style has always been a favorite! Wearing my white one today but was very happy with the purchase of the blue one for my younger son! He loves the color and loves that he can punch in math equations for fun! He is 8 and it fits his wrist on the 2nd to smallest size, so he will be able to wear this for years to come! Battery life is very long and even when wearing the watch while doing chores it holds up against minor bangs and scratches. Can't go wrong with Casio, comfortable and goes with any outfit! I wouldn't mind there being no backlight if the characters on the display were actually as bright and well defined as the product images show. The display is dim to the point that I thought something was wrong with it. The media could not be loaded. I love this watch to death, the calculator, alarm, dual time, the comfortable strap, nearly everything. However, it’s only three stars because the fact that the colors only come in negative display shoots itself in the foot. Especially since these don’t have backlights. You can read it in broad daylight easily, and it does look nice. But as soon as there’s a change in lighting condition, you’ll have to move your arm in weird ways just to point it towards your nearest light source, just so you can check the time. Don’t let this discourage you from getting the basic black version, however, aside from the negative display being a grave error, it’s still an absolutely amazing calculator watch. Outclassed in features by the DBC32, but that one’s in no way as infamous as this one. ... show more
