Super legible with a large face and big white hands on the black background. Band is sort of a dark grey/charcoal that goes superbly with the overall stealth like appearance. The stainless gun metal grey bezel is a great touch that compliments the rest of this watch nicely. Negative digital display is good sized and easily readable. The neon illuminator function is fantastic, lightning up the hour markers in neon green and the hands in purple, as well as the digital display. Features include an altimeter, barometer, compass, temperature, world time/second time zone and more - don't forget solar powered - what else could you need? I love the look of this watch, it's classically sporty but refined enough to wear with dress clothes. More subdued than a G-Shock, but something that says rugged and durable and ready for outdoor adventure, including watersports with its 100m water resistance. Super comfortable to wear with its soft silicone band. Fit, finish and overall sense of quality is excellent, I feel like this piece punches above its price point, very nice! ... show more

What a great watch! Everything you could ever want from a non smartwatch. Big, bold, easy to read, Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, Digital and Analog time, push button light and ready for water activities. The hands and number markers have excellent illumination and the band even sucks up enough light that the underside of it glows throughout the night. Never seen that before. I did have to snug up the screws on the back of the case because the face fogged the first morning when I walked outdoors. That had me a little worried, but since tightening the screws, haven’t had that happen again, and it has not been removed from my wrist for a month and a half now.     • The Sexiest Casio
Saw this model in Japan and really liked the design, but it was expensive (~$350) so I didn't get it. Found this for about $150 here (Amazon Warehouse) and loved the color combo so took a chance and got it. It really does look nice and have a good size. It's masculine looking but also refined; not too big even for smallish wrists like mine. I really like that it has an actually attractive color scheme and streamlined design compared to almost every other Casio I've seen. One review said that it's hard to read the time but I don't have any trouble. It's literally white hands on a black face with an additional clear digital display below, with everything lighting up like a runway when you push the bottom button. You can also set the lights to come on whenever you lift your wrist: very handy. There is so much functionality that the guidebook does go deep into the weeds, but remembering the ABCD layout (Altitude, Barometer, etc), that the B buttons cycles through the additional options, and that pulling out the crown changes the settings is all you need to know to do most things. Haven't had any trouble with the charge at all, but when I take it off at night I put it under a lamp for a couple of hours. The temperature is utterly useless, the compass is not very accurate, but have enjoyed the altitude a lot, the time display and date options, the lights, and the world time a good bit. The timer and stopwatch seem to work well. Really wish it had a step counter, but honestly I'll keep it just because it is so cool looking, has a good feel on the wrist, doesn't require charging, and has enough technological niftiness to be fun to play with. I'm not big on writing reviews, but seeing as this product has so few, I thought I'd contribute one. For starters, this is an authentic watch. I ran the serial number and it came back confirmed. Authenticity is always a concern of mine when ordering online...you just never know these days. Now, on to the watch. I have had many and am a bit of a collector. I haven't had this one long yet, but I can already tell it will be my EDC. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting it set up but once you do, it functions perfectly. The crown makes set up a little more complicated than it needs to be but aesthetically, it adds the classy touch of a dive watch. The illumination is top notch and the hour hands turn on with the LED backlight. All viewing angles are sharp and crisp. So far, all alto and barometer functions are perfect. The compass was even calibrated correctly out of the box. Thermometers are relatively useless on watches, since they are warmed by your body, but it can easily be taken off for about 20 minutes and get a decent ambient reading. All hands line up perfectly and the digital time matches the hands dead on (I obsess over things being synchronized correctly). The casing is large but not that goofy looks "cartoonish" size and I have medium sized wrists. The band is comfortable, and while not a necessity under any means, the part that contacts your skin glows in the dark for a bit which is oddly satisfying. The watch keeps great time. If I lost this watch today, I would definitely buy it again. I was weary of this one in particular due to the lack of reviews, but I can verify that it is exactly as described. Pros: .Great readability .Hands align perfectly with the markers and digital time .Navigation is easy once past the initial learning curve (took me 20 minutes tops to get it calibrated and set up to my liking) .Beautiful classy, yet rugged, appearance .The illumination and backlight are ridiculously awesome .Strap is comfortable .Watch is that rare balance of light in weight, yet notably durable .I love divers, so this is subjective, but the crown is awesome looking and the knurling is just enough for a good grip Cons: Only thing I'm not 100 percent stoked on is that the face is not recessed. I can see it accumulating some scratches over time I will update in another month or so if anything changes or indicates poor quality. Otherwise, fantastic watch! ... show more
