As with a few G Shocks being produced lately, it has an issue with the display. I have 2 Shocks like this, not a major issue due to the light function but sometimes I’ve felt a bit disapppointed because the way the watch looks makes me like it, if you know what I mean?!? Pros: I have had 2 or 3 g shocks in the past liked them all. I usually wear till they're so banged up/scarred up that I replace or in this case, I've misplaced. But it was several years old so all good. This face is same size as others but build up around face slightly more, which I like. Looks good. Con: as others have mentioned, backlight could be better. I like the indiglo type where backlight is fluid and uniform across entire face. This one 'looks like' it has 2 little tiny bulbs where it isn't uniform. I wear and use mostly in day so no biggie but this does need improvement for future production. The backlight is a bit of a disappointment. ... show more

This thing is built to last. Maybe “overbuilt” for most days, but surprisingly light despite this fact. The light up display is excellent, and legibility under normal conditions is on par with my G-Shocks with positive LEDs.
