I love this watch. It's my second casio, but my first G-shock. My Fiance' got it for me as a Christmas gift, but let me pick it out. I work as a car salesman where we wear semi-dress casual clothes. So I liked the rose gold accents because it gave it more of a classy look to me. The rose gold isn't pink. It had more of a copper/ bronze look which I really like. It looks great with the black band. This watch looks good dressed up or dressed down so its perfect for my line of work. I've only had it for a month or so, but I've had a cheap $30 casio that lasted for 2 years of heavy wear and is still working, so I know this one is going to be great for a long time. I feel like I got an excellent deal because on the G-shock website and in stores like Macy's this is about a $130 watch. I believe I paid around $90 or less here. So I was very pleased with the price I got. Like other reviews have said the light isn't super bright, but works for me. I don't use it alot in the dark anyway. Its not horrible, not unusable, just not very clear in dark situations, but doesnt bother me. Not much more I can say; I love it, works for me and looks awesome! ... show more

    • Have had the watch for over two months
I have read some review about battery life running low after the first month. So, I decided to wait on giving this product a review. It's still running strong with no hiccups. PROs: Looks good, feel comfortable on larger body types, can easily read the digital display in good to not so good lighting conditions. Has all of the necessary functions for a daily watch. CONs: Only one led light at the bottom, and at night perhaps you should use your phone to tell time. It's not terrible to see at night, I'd just set the light settings to 3s' so that can be sure of what hand is which. The loom on mine are on the tips and takes effort to get the right amount of light to charge them so you can at least use them at night. But this is it for cons because this watch is a good purchase. I have owned this watch for a year now. It's been a great watch as expected. I wear it nearly every day. It's been whacked off desks, cars, inside engine bays, in and out of water, etc. and it's held up great. The gray color in the "G Shock" and "protection" has faded some. The band has held shape and not torn. The case is in fine shape for as much abuse it takes. The face is still great and keeps perfect time. No scratches on the crystal which I am surprised about. It's a great watch the price point. I get a compliment on it from time to time too. ... show more

    • Subdued yet classy
At first I was worried the wording around the watch face would be too white, but to my delight they are subdued enough for my liking. The watch is subtle enough for my work environment while still showing a little class/flare. I am not sure why people are saying that it is impossible to read in anything but perfect light. The hands are easy to see and if it is too dark the amber light at the bottom lights up the face enough to tell the time. No the hands are not glow in the dark, but this is a pro and not a con to me. I think glow in the dark watches are tacky. If you are looking for a back lit watch then look elsewhere for a purely digital watch. I own 5 G-Shocks and this is by far my favorite. ... show more

Bought this for my husbands birthday. The watch is sleek and comfortable as he wears it 24/7. The only downfall is the watches night light is not that bright leaving it harder to see the middle of the night. Great watch otherwise!

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. The style is great, and the rose gold really pops. All the features in the watch are really neat, making it a very nice eye catcher.

Long story short, we don't have a wide collection of casio watches in our country or they sold it for an overrated price. So, me and my friends decided to order for each one of us online. I wanted this watch for its colors cause its the modern colors that all the watch brands are using nowadays, but my friend saw it and wanted to buy it so I have to choose another model. Bottom line he liked/loved it, so are all the people who saw it comparing to the other two watches me and my other friend chose. The other two watches we ordered were also great ((Casio GA150 and GA100)), they all almost have the same features "as I think". We love casio watches, its tough and looks great.     • Beautiful and rugged.
I just received my new watch. Its the first G-Shock I've ever owned. This looks rugged but with class. I'm wearing my black leather Harley shirt, and this watch is a great accessory. A friend was at Macy's and saw it on sale for $130 + tax. The light really isn't bright enough in the dark though. But in every other way I'm very happy and impressed with this watch. I have a lot of watches including a beautiful Citizen chrono and Rolex Daytona. I bought this watch to wear when I'm doing things around the house and don't want to scratch one of my more expensive watches. But I like it so much that I might have to buy one more, because I want this watch to stay nice looking. Buy one and you won't regret it. ... show more
