I’m not really a watch wearer, but I have to wear a watch for work. It’s always difficult for me to find a watch that’s comfortable because my wrist bones protrude a lot. I was actually looking through the reviews photos before making my purchase and someone had posted a side by side photo of this watch and my old watch. I immediately knew I had to buy this watch because it’s the perfect size. My next concern was the bands, I have really small wrists. I figured I would be needing pin sized tool to remove the fixture. I looked up a YouTube video and to my surprise all I needed was a fork to let the flap from the fixture to reduce the band. I’m loving this watch. I work at night so it’s nice that it has the little light too. Casio has always been my go to. The instructions were way too follow. The watch was affordable. It’s water resistant so in don’t have to worry about getting it wet. The clasp feels secure, and it has the option of military time too. I need a no frills watch that can easily tell me the time, day, and date. Sure, I can look at my cell phone for that, but that requires fumbling through my purse looking for it or trying to find where I last put it down. The face of the watch was smaller than I thought it was, but that ended up being a good thing. I have small wrists and a watch face any larger may have looked too large. The time, day, and date are still large enough that I can easily see them in my wrist. The silver color is nice and I like the silver face on it over others I had seen with a black face. The watch was simple to set with a quick glance at the directions. The watch has other features such as a timer and an alarm, but frankly I am not going to use those. Casio watches are classic for a reason. I have the smaller one (stainless w/ black face) and love the size of that on my wrist, but there is no light and no date. There's an empty space on one side for a light button, but maybe that would take away from the more "elegant" look they're going for in that smaller style. So, basically I wanted a more-everyday watch with all those aforementioned features (light, date), plus the display is obviously slightly larger which is nice for my aging eyes that won't wear glasses. Some reviewers said this was an absurdly small watch but, as you can see from my photo at least, it's large and in charge. I only wish the "lady" versions of these watches had the removable links like most of the versions marketed toward men. The "tail" on this is a little long and the links are really impossible to even snip off with heavy-duty construction tools without leaving a jagged edge that occasionally catches the skin (we tried on my other one), but they are super easy to adjust to your desired wrist size, and I often change the size on the fly depending on how I'm wanting to wear it that day. So, all in all, totally great watches, and there are so many different metal/face combinations, it's hard to narrow down which one to get (each one would work in a different way). My next and last one (until one of the batteries dies in 10-12 years) will be the smaller gold one to wear with nicer outfits. ... show more

Just received today, and pleased with its appearance, the size, the fit and ease of use. The watch came with a very detailed booklet for setting and use. It’s pretty on my wrist, so I’m happy with my purchase so far. That said, it arrived in only a tiny bubble wrap envelope. No box, no protection of any kind. It made me question whether or not this was a “new” watch, as was advertised. It seems like it is, and is working properly, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. I did deduct one star for this, because I’d have felt better if had a little more cushioning or protection of some kind. ... show more
