  • Excellent mid-range calculator
This calculator is one of the best in it's class, but the Sharp EL-535 and the TI-30X Multiview are very similar. The major drawback with this model is that it forgets previous calculations when it powers off. It does remember values that you've stored to variables, though. It's easy to store things to variables, but the TI-30X Multiview is better for recalling things that you've forgotten to store. The Sharp is almost the same as the Casio, but doesn't forget anything when it turns off. All three are excellent calculators. ... show more

  • Best value and functional calculator for a high school math classroom
At around $10 each, these are a go-to for a high school math classroom. I have a set of 30 for my students and it makes teaching the subject so much easier for today's generation of indifferent teenagers. These are great because they do not connect to TikTok, texting messaging, or YouTube. These calculators do fractions and radicals, and the input is a natural algebraic display so their short attention-span minds don't have to keep track of separate step calculations. Casio: The choice for the Idiocracy generation! Makes a great accessory on their desk with their energy drinks and special-order Starbucks beverages. ... show more

  • Easy to use, also easy to drop. Still recommend
Great product. It's relatively lightweight for its size. The case is smooth, so the whole thing slides around if you're trying to carry it on top of a pile of books/notebooks. That's of minor importance, though, since it works well and fulfills its purpose.
