This is the first case out of close to 15 that I've bought and tried for my 14 pro max that actually feels like it's substantive enough to withstand a drop. I don't know what's happened to the iPhone cases but my they seemed to be much more well made last time I was shopping for one a few urs ago. (For an 11 pro so maybe more than a few). The material is easy to grip, in-line the otter box case that has the word grip on its description. It's made of some kind of plastic that's anything but gripable. I found lots of slush clear cases with designs that looked great soth my firm issued back phone but they were way too thin and didn't have the "mag safe" feature. So yes this case was stupid expensive but it seems that you really do get what you pay for and bargain cases are just going to disappoint. The only knock against this case is the white writing on side advertising that the case is made of recycled phone cases. Of course it's great that Casetify does this, but my phone doesn't need to advertise this for them, and the writing clutters up the case. It's a small price to pay for a good case however, just a bit annoying. ... show more

Grabbed my phone off of the kitchen counter, it slipped from my fingers, landed on its BACK on the floor and the entire back of my phone shattered INSIDE OF THE CASE?! This has never happened in my life, and for it to be an “ultra impact” case from Casetify, this definitely shouldn’t have happened!!! I am beyond upset!!! This is my second casetify case. I purchased the impact case for my iPhone 13 pro max and it was pretty protective. Now I have the ultra impact for the iPhone 14 pro max. This case does not make my phone feel bulky, but adds just enough weight for me to know that it’s protected. The design seems like it will not scratch off easier. The MagSafe accessories I have fit decent as well. While the price tag can be cringy, the ability to personalize the designs and features of the case offsets the hefty price tag. The case was harder to get on than to take off surprisingly, nonetheless it stays on the phone and will not slip off. I tend to change out my phone cases frequently because I like to personalize my phone based on my mood/outfit, but I’m looking forward to this case being on my phone for a while. ... show more
