A friend of mine is always talking about Case Peanut knives. So I finally bought one to see. Figured I'd get the Caribbean Blue saw cut bone model since it was a pretty knife. And when it arrived I was not disappointed. Smaller than I thought, but actually a useful size. And yes, the scales are gorgeous. The fit and finish was perfect. With a Case knife these days the sharpness is hit and miss. A few runs on a ceramic sharpener and it was cutting paper like a razor. I do not intend to beat the hell out of it as it's a small knife made for reasonable use. With that said, I will use this fine little knife within reason of it's size and design. This is the ninth Case XX Caribbean Blue Sawcut Bone knife pattern I've bought and its probably my favorite, despite not being a huge fan of the peanut. The handles are a bright vibrant blue, they match on both sides and the blades are sharp. Knife is as pictured a very nice knife. Will be an 8th grade graduation gift for granddaughter. All our grandkids received a Case knife for 8th grade graduation. Everyone should have a small pocket knife to carry!

    • Great little minimalist pocket knife. One of my favorites.
One of my very favorite pocket knives. Took about five minutes to polish both blades to a damn near razor sharp edge. Not as smooth as a canoe case like the baby butter bean as far as protecting the lining of your pocket, but still an awesome little knife.
