I just ordered this knife for my wife yesterday, after looking over the pictures of the knife it only has colors on one side, that's ok if you're just displaying it in a case, knives are tools made to work hard every day and that's what my family does with case knives, it's sad they couldn't afford the extra .50 ¢ and colored both sides of the handle ... show more

    • A Heads Up During Covid
First off this is one of my favorite Case handle scales ! The deep etching and great looking colors and the detail down in the red and blue ( on my Case Tear drop they etched in texture that actually looks like cloth weave) . Not so much on this Trapper but that's just fine with me to. Now the bad : I sprayed the knife with some rubbing alcohol and the colors immediately began to come off on my hand. Luckily I stopped before I really messed it up. Come on Case ! ! ! ! When one dyes fabric one locks the dye down with salt and vinegar. Knife dudes dye their knife handles with fabric dye. Surely you can do better than this, especially for Old Glory ! ... show more

Was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He collects knives and wanted me to choose a knife for him! He should have known it would be red, white, blue and beautiful! He loved it and so do I. He tells me he gets compliments on it all the time.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, got it today & it’s all scratched up & the colors are faded & running together, some of the red looks pinkish in places, there’s red on the white & the blue is faded as well, also the red, white & blue is only on one side & that was not mentioned in the product description, I’m highly disappointed in spending almost $120 on a CASE knife & receiving it in this condition! I called Amazon to try to get a replacement & was told my only option was to send it back for a Refund, no I wanted a replacement for my sons gift so it would be here on time for Christmas & then I could have returned this one, they have my card on file & could have charged me had I not returned it, but was not willing to work with me in anyway to get me a replacement for my son’s gift. The photos don’t hardly show the damages or blended colors as well as it actually is, the colors that are there are very lightly done & are almost transparent in places & it’s uneven! I’m very dissatisfied & very unhappy with this purchase & their customer service in trying to make this right with me! ... show more
