  • Sharp!
My favorite all time knife. I wish it would lock open, but that's the nature of this type of knife. This thing maintains it's sharpness. I use it for everything, have not yet had to sharpen it and it can still shave the hair on my arm with it. Will very definitely be getting other S35VN knives from Case in the future, for friends and family. ... show more

  • Blade Snapped from a Ziptie
As the headline said, I tried to cut a, relatively small, ziptie that was holding on to a go-kart brake line. The blade was pretty sharp when I tried to cut it, too. I cut straight, so the blade wouldn't bend and SNAP; the blade broke :( Thought it was a beautiful knife with the buffalo horn and such. Shame really. I contacted Case to see if they could replace it, but I haven't heard from them in over a week and that was simply a "we got your warranty request." Guess it's like the other reviews said. Crappy quality. I guess I'm moving on to some other "American" brand. ... show more

  • Horrible quality from the manufacturer…
Blades were bent. 2 of the blades were not lined up where they were supposed to go when closed. Case has some serious issues with quality control… you could even say there is no quality control. Won’t ever buy a Case knife again.

  • Retailer was great
You know, you shouldn't drag the retailer in the mud when the manufacturer makes the mistake, as long as the retailer steps up and takes the initiative as they should. Case gets a 1 star, Deadwood Knives gets a 5 star rating is the best I can explain the 4 star overall. Case did a terrible job with the finish work and the emblem fell out in my hand when unwrapped from the paper. Case totally dropped the ball on quality control and should know better with the general workforce available these days. The silly Case emblem wasn't the biggest issue either. The gentleman at Deadwood Knives took my call head-on and did everything I'd expect a quality retailer to do. Come on Case, some of us are long time loyal Customers who are very stubborn about buying US made products and you simply have to step up your game to stay in play given that there are many solid US knife makers who thankfully have. ... show more
