Great knife. Razor sharp and the ideal size to carry in your coin pocket and still have enough blade length to cut up an apple (pretty hard to do that with the smaller Case Peanut). One forewarning: Be sure to buy this fulfilled by Amazon and NOT antonline. Antonline does not stand behind its sales. They sent me a damaged knife and required me to pay shipping back plus, unbelievably, their original shipping to me. Amazon finally had to get involved because Antonline was so unresponsive. Have had my CV for a couple of months now and I find that I carry it more often than my larger Benchmades, etc. Razor sharp, looks great, nice "snap" to the action. Nice size for EDC and big enough for most uses, though I wouldn't skin a deer with it. Keep a little oil on it and treat it nice and you'll have it for a lifetime. ... show more

Case makes highly-finished knives in the USA, which is more than you can say for most things these days. If you don't want to take care of your steel, get a stainless steel knife. This one features carbon steel, which holds an edge better than stainless, but will rust more easily -- though it will develop a cool patina in time. The "yeller" plastic handle is very traditional and makes it easy to find the knife if you drop it. I ended up giving this penknife away and buying a Case yellow peanut knife, which is just a little bit smaller and fits better in my dress pants pockets for everyday carry. But the penknife is an unappreciated pocket knife, in my view, and you can't go wrong with it for opening packages, slicing an apple, etc. ... show more

This is a very sweet knife. I love it! A little larger than the Peanut but still easily fits in my watch pocket. Not a heavy duty knife. More of a gentlemen's folder, if you ask me. The only complaint I have with it is that there is side to side blade play with the clip point blade. It's quite noticeable right out of the box. However, I'm not terribly worried about it. I only intend to use this knife for light duty applications. I recommend this knife! ... show more

YOU WOULD THINK CASE COULD GET THIS RIGHT. BUT NO. ARRIVED WITH EXTREME BLADE RUB. MAYBE IF THIS HAD FOUR BLADES OR SOMETHING I WOULD EXPECT BLADE RUB. BUT ONLY TWO BLADES? NO. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE. THIS PRODUCT WAS A FAILURE BY THE MANUFACTURER.
