The strap is great for carrying the tablet over your shoulder. The screen shield did crack after some several months, but it's probably my fault. The second strap also can hold the tablet in place while I watch media on a treadmill. This way I don't have to bend my head to watch or use my smartphone to hold the tablet up high enough. It's not even designed for that, but it works out for me.

I was looking for a durable case with a shoulder strap and chose this one after reading reviews and watching videos. Unfortunately, I’m really disappointed and hope to return it after just two days of use. The case was hard to assemble. Aligning my iPad Pro 12.9” properly was tricky because of extra room for features, and snapping the plastic shells together was frustrating. The buttons felt misaligned under the silicone, though I might have adjusted to that with time. Attaching the strap was another challenge, and if you don’t want to use it, the attachment pieces stay on the case, which looks awkward. The back grip strap also made opening the stand difficult, and the whole process felt clunky and fragile. My biggest issue is the bezel design. It interferes with basic gestures like swiping up to access apps or pulling down the action navigator. These simple actions took multiple tries, making the iPad frustrating to use. On the positive side, the case feels very protective with its thick silicone and raised edges. But what’s the point if it hinders the iPad’s functionality? I’ve already gone back to my old case and hope Amazon approves the return, even without all the original packaging.

This case is the real deal. My iPad ended up in the middle of a busy intersection for 5-6 hours. It was in this case. When I found it, the screen was broken after being run over countless times, BUT it still works. I was able to locate it in FindMy and I'm confident it'll be back to functioning with a screen replacement. I doubt many people will put their iPad through what I just did. For everyday bumps and drops, this case is a tank!

I had been looking for a durable case with a shoulder strap. I research things to death before purchasing them. I watched several videos and read reviews. Overwhelmingly, people loved this case. I do not and hope I can return it. I have had it for less than 2 days and hate it so much, I went back to my basic flip over case which barely will stand. It was difficult to put together. My iPad Pro 12.9” was a bit difficult to line up properly in the bottom case, only because there is a little extra room for a couple other features. You have to be careful to get the buttons aligned properly so a plastic piece can be engaged the from the outside button which will be covered by the silicone piece. With the case on, the buttons felt Ike they were in a difference place, almost further toward the middle than they are. I probably would have adjusted to that with time. I also found it difficult to get the plastic shells aligned to snap together. And…don’t get me started on the difficulty attaching the strap to the case! Also, if you don’t want to use the strap, you have two pieces hanging off the case. Those remain on the case so you snap the rest of the strap to them. I found that I had to release the back grip strap to get the stand to open which it did with some difficulty. It wasn’t quick and easy to do and felt like it would easily break. Now the biggest reason, I dislike this case is that the bezel makes it EXTREMELY difficult to navigate the iPad. This iPad works with touch. You swipe up from the bottom to gain access to all your apps. The bezel interferes with this simple gesture and I have to try each swipe several times causing me to think I’ll never get to my apps. It also happens with the action navigator which comes down from the top. In its favor, the case is probably quite protective. The edges are high around the screen and the silicone cover is thick and seems very protective. But…what good is all that when you can’t use the iPad as it was designed to be used? So, after less than two days, I will try to get my money back from Amazon. I don’t have all the original packaging. I hope they will approve the return.

This product is easy to use once you have it in place, you just hold onto the back of it with the loop you can use to put your hand in, or you can use the kickstand to put it in place. You can use one side of the kickstand or the other to get different heights so that, if you use your iPad Pro as a graphics tablet also, you can get the height and angle you need wherever you are drawing. I do LOVE the strap, it makes it so much easier to carry around the house to sit where I want and draw away. This DOES make your iPad pretty bulky so the strap helps for when it won't fit in my laptop bag, along with my laptop and other items. (the variable is whatever the other items are) What I do NOT like is that one little tiny piece of rubber broke right off the bat and that has made the "fit" somewhat iffy to where I constantly have to reclick the top plastic frame back into place. One of the weird drawbacks for me is that I cannot use a pencil protector and still charge my pencil in this case. The pencil fits nicely into a slot in the top but it's a close fit (I imagine it would need to be to hold the pencil bare), so I can't use the cute pencil protectors and still use this case. So what happens if I drop the pencil itself? All in all, though, I'd still recommend it bc it does keep the iPad safe, it has been knocked down by virtue of feline mischief and I'm quite glad the case was on at that time.
