I have four of these type of runner rugs. They are so my dogs don’t slip on the laminate flooring which had caused some trepidation on their part while walking throughout the house. I had one more area that needed a runner for the same purpose but I didn’t want to replicate the color of the ones that I had purchased previously. I found this pattern in the colors that I was looking for, and I am very pleased with it. Please keep in mind that these come folded into a plastic package. The size of a king size sheet set so it is very thin. The short pile feels like velvet. I haven’t had a significant problem with them slipping despite their thinness, and they do look very pretty, very colorful. I've literally never in my 30 years have felt a rug as luxuriously soft and plush and this one. It's like stepping on thick velvet. My dog and I love the feeling of this rug, as you can see from the pic! My main complaint is due to the thinness of the backing this rug easily wrinkles up. It's a quick fix but slightly annoying. It does make this rug machine washable so it's the price to pay for that! Overall a nice soft addition to my living room and with a dog having something machine washable is a must! ... show more
