Bought the 8x10 rug after searching in stores and online for ages for a white fake sheepskin rug to go with my modern furniture. Color was always not white enough. This one is. Goes well with my stark white cabinets and pillows. Its soft, plush and holds up well. My dog loves laying on it and once even did her business on it. It actually cleaned up easily with water and Natures Miracle dog stain remover. It arrived quickly and was packaged very well, protected in a zip up plastic bag. The media could not be loaded. Gorgeous! I love love love the look of fur but would *never* have animal fur in my home (except my little {living} dog ;) So, you guys, this is a beautiful alternative. You can tell up close that it is not real, but it has a very soft feel to the touch + appearance. The only down side, I should’ve thought of beforehand, is my little shih tzu now thinks it her bed so burying her treats in it and such. I may have to order another one within 6-12 months if she is rough on it. But, that’s nothing to do with the manufacturer or company!     • Is it a rug or a throw?

I ordered one of these in white to see if it would fit, and look nice beside my king sized bed. I chose this because of it being washable, as I have 3 small dogs and didn't want to invest in something real unless I knew how they would react. That was 48 hours ago, and I ordered a second for the other side of the bed today. We have all wood floors, and the more expensive rugs we had down were always slipping and moving. I had no idea if this fabric back rug would be a disaster for slipping, but was pleasantly surprised... it's not budged since I put it down. As for my 3 tiny fur babies... no accidents or special interest, other than one seems to think it's a new bed for him and he seems to like laying on it. Now for aesthetics... does it look like real sheepskin? Of course not! But for under $40 I sure haven't found one that's more full or fluffy. Speaking of, when I took it out of the neatly folded package, of course it didn't look its best. I simply shook it out, and put it in my dryer on a fluff cycle for about 15 minutes. I don't need to bother you with a pic, as it looks exactly like the stock photo. Obviously, I can't speak about durability or wear yet, but for the price... if it looks nice thru a few washes, I won't mind replacing them in 6 months if necessary. I think I now just need to find one of the matching pillows they show in the ad to balance out the look. I hope this helps you if you're trying to decide on ordering. Update: Today we washed the second one for the first time, and it turned into something totally different.. more like a throw for furniture than a rug. The backing is totally different, and instead of appearing like the flat backing on the first one, it's got some kind of fill between layers, and it looks more like a sheepskin throw. Obviously the seller received the product from different sources or materials. We like them both, but for totally different purposes now. Yet as we're still able to use both, I'm about to order a third, in hopes of getting another one with the backing that stays flat like a rug. Who knows, but for $40, I'm willing to order another. However, if quality goes down hill from here, I'll update again. With tiny dogs and a toddler snuggling them, I'm just grateful they're washable. ... show more

I ordered this for my moms bedroom. I wanted her to have something soft and cushioned to step on when she gets out of bed. This item looks nice but is very thin, no padding at all. Faux fur is soft but not plush, thick or whatever you want to call it. I can feel the hard tile floor right through this rug.
