This is a sturdy “shopping cart” with easy roll wheels and a handle that doesn’t require me to bend over (I’m 5’6”). It’s heavy duty, I put in 2 packages of bottled water, a total of 36 bottles, and this cart wheeled them about easily! For assembly, I put it together because I didn’t want to wait for my hubby. There is a video on the purchase page that helps with how to put it together. Honestly it’s not difficult BUT getting the screws tight was a chore and the Hubs eventually got involved to tighten those up. I’m super pleased with this purchase.

I bought this for transporting large loads of laundry (single story house). Now that washing machines can hold bedding for multiple beds, I don’t have to strain my back lugging it all over with this cart. Holds ALOT. Sits high, peel off bedclothes, drop in cart, next room, same, wash, dry, return. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this for my 86 year old cousin, whose last trek with hauling her washed and folded laundry, ended with it all falling on the floor, having tried to transport it on her 90 year old husband's walker with the basket. It took a while to assemble, as ALL the nuts have to be tightly screwed to the bolts...TIGHTLY. I read the one star reviews, and feel that their problems were a result for not tightening the bolts tight enough. The bolts are those kind with the "built in" rubber washers, whatever they are called, making them a bit difficult to tighten, but, will never become lose! All assembled, very tight and sturdy. I am sure it could be used to carry around a child or even a pet, should you want to go for your evening walk. I asked my husband if he wanted one, too. He said he did not. Well, we'll just wait and see! A great product all the way around! Got a phone call from the recipient. She said it was way too big for her. My husband talked with her and found she does laundry every day...for just the two of them! So, we will be taking it back. My husband, then, admitted to me, he wanted one, too, but considering the price (plus shipping), decided not to push it. Now, we will have one, and not have to lug those heavy laundry basket (we do not do laundry every day!) Will also be great for unloading groceries from the back of the car and, with the bigger wheels, easy to get into the house (before, had to unload them in the garage from anther cart). I've been looking, here, am looking for a rack to hang clothes as they come from the dryer. Is there one that will fit? Thank you! I am going to add to my previous post. This is my THIRD cart! I use two inside the house....for laundry and moving things around. The third will be in the garage to move in my groceries from the car. Only today, when I was using it to take my 3 Chihuahuas in a crate to the groomer, a lady came across the parking lot, asking where I bought it! She said she could use it for hauling her groceries up her driveway into her home. I told her I bought from Amazon. Now, I am going to print up some ads for this wonderful cart to hand out to those who ask. Have I stopped at three? Who knows?!

Bought this cart to haul groceries and other heavy items for the long trek from the garage into the house. Quite the time and back saver not hauling heavy bags back and forth. Cart & Supply makes other sizes and wasn’t sure this 1.8 bushel size was large enough, but it’s the perfect size and height for easy loading and unloading from the car. Glad I didn’t opt for the bigger size. This cart fits perfectly through doorways, too. Easy, and actually fun, to maneuver. Have a small step and just a foot press on the back bar hops it over the bump. Also have a Whitmor Laundry Butler cart. It’s been great, but this new cart has me considering retiring it and getting Cart & Supply’s taller cart with a hanging bar. Definitely an upgrade. This new cart is seriously well built. Took about 15 minutes to assemble. Came with tools, too. Got the red with the hammered, charcoal gray coating. Looks pretty snazzy for a laundry cart. And if you have dogs that like to go for rides, this makes a great dog stroller. (Just be sure to latch them in if you have a jumpy dog.) Toss crate pads in the bottom and away we go! Great dog, and people, entertainment. :-)

The only negative things I can say about this purchase is… …the Allen wrench they provide is made of aluminum. After 6 bolts were tightened, the wrench stripped. Luckily I have two sets of them, so this was not a problem. You may need a better tool to hold the nuts than the aluminum open-ended wrenches they included. I used a #4 Vice-Grip (a small one) that worked much better. Overall this unit is as good or better than what you’d find in a common laundromat. Bigger than I expected but still fit where I needed it to go. Someone else mentioned that it doesn’t have locking wheels. I can see where that might be an advantageous feature, but I’m not gonna judge it for lacking this function. This unit is built to take it! If your preteen kids decide to play with it, I think it would be okay. Update: I have purchased a second cart now. It worked so well for laundry I decided to buy one for transporting my groceries from the car into the house. The heavy weight of the cart makes it a little bit of a chore especially when toting half a dozen bottles of distilled water, but my other cart can barely handle such a load, so it’s a fine line between too heavy and not robust enough. There is no perfect solution…and if there is, it’s probably made of Kevlar and costs 5 times as much. I’ll stick with what I got…lol

Easy to assemble. Very easy to move, wheels fluidly responsive. Solidly made. Grid pattern of coated wire basket widely spaced so that smaller items like socks fall through. A clothes basket set into the cart is advised.
