This is probably not going to seem that much better than the case that comes with the Steam Deck, but it does have more space in it, is no worse than the original case, and doesn't leave your power supply hanging on the back of the case in a somewhat awkward manner. The only real disadvantage is the unavoidable tradeoff that if you want more room inside then it will take up more room outside, but so far I have not found this to be a problem for me. The default steam deck case dident include storage for the charger and this dose it's great to be able to have your charger and USB to HDMI cable all in one package. With this case I know if I drop my steam deck it won't get broke as the external case is durable.

This case looks exactly like the JSAUX branded case... not sure if it's a clone. But here are the pros and cons. PROS: -Rugged and sturdy design. -Ample storage (fits charger, cable, and wireless earbuds) -Works with Steam Deck and even AOKZOE A1 with slight modification of addinf a little velcro strap (even if it looks like it doesn't fit, it does). -Will fit a Steam Deck with a silicone cover and the stick caps too. CONS: -Might be a copier/cloned design (if you care about that) -Doesn't have a strap on the back like the original Deck case which can go over luggage handles -Doesn't have a loop/hole on the zipper for a lock. VERDICT: Would recommend as a nice alternative to the original Deck case, or the terrible A1 case. ... show more

I own a Steam Deck. I own a battery bank I used to put under my Nintendo Switch via a Satisfye Grip case. I wanted a case to do the same thing with SD, which the included case does not do. I saw this case for a very low price (a third of what the other clones of this case were charging) and I could not pass it up. It's darker than the pictures seem to suggest. I got the impression the inside of the case was a very light color, but it's actually a medium gray. I got the impression the outside was a medium gray, but it's a very dark, dark gray turning almost to black. The zippers are good. The velcro inside is passable. I read a review about one of these clones (and there are many of them if you look around that are identical to this one) that said there are two flaps and one of them is meant to be fit under your SD with the other flap (the one with the SD card slots and mesh) going on top. That's accurate. The velcro is not long enough, it should be longer to give you a lot of leeway to attach it to the flap. Because it's so short, it has a tendency to get stuck to the bottom flap instead of the top flap and makes it a little more awkward to open and close. It's not impossible, not even really hard, it's just a minor nuisance where if they'd added a half inch more velcro it would not have been any problem at all. In fact, that's my overall impression of the case. I like it for what it is and especially for what I paid, but there's this feeling if they'd done just a half-inch more of everything it would be an incredible case. A half-inch more compartment and you could have your usb-c plugged into your battery bank at all times. A half-inch higher and you'd easily store your cable with your battery bank. A half-inch more velcro and you'd easily open and close it. A half-inch more and they could have put a mesh netting on the other side of the case instead of form fitting. Imagine being so close to greatness and cost-cutting a half-inch off to pretty alright. So I would not pay too much, but the right price makes this pretty alright REALLY alright. I wish case manufacturers would stop dipping their cases in formaldehyde. It's not as bad as the SD 64GB included case, which is still airing out right now, but this one still has enough smell to warrant a good airing out for a few weeks. Seems like every case released since COVID has this problem though, so I don't necessarily blame this one. Btw, no logos or icons or branding on this case is great. ... show more

I really am enjoying using this case!! Because of its armor and convenience it has replaced my original case. The armor is much better and I love how it has a compartment for the power adapter and has room for more. it even has a stand for the deck which comes in super convenient. This case is so good. It's very well made and high quality. I love all the pockets and compartments in this thing. No game left behind. The zipper is very good to and doesn't feel like it's gonna break or get stuck which is a big deal to me cause I normally hate zippers. Bought this case back in Nov 2022. Adult owned. Typical to light usage. The stitching from the handle came undone and now the carrying handle doesn’t work and one of the zippers came off.
