I finally opened this after ordering 3 or 4 months back, and the whole gray bottom is disconnected from the black part of the unit. I taped it up and it seems to work ok, but damn. Also the pins are so tight it feels like I'm gonna snap a game putting it into this. And the eject button throws my game out, like literally. Had my game fly out and to the back of the console. Order and paid for a new system but this was already unsealed and controllers and system out of wrapping. Paid a new price for something that looks used. Not cool nor good business at all

    • Shaky screen output
Maybe I just need to sit way, way further away to find this acceptable, but pair this up against a SNES or Super Famicom, you're going to notice a TON of jittering and shakiness in image output; I think the way these systems work is they're pushing interlaced video output through composite and HDMI, and it looks awful, like you've got sugar shakes. It's also possible most people just literally cannot see this, but unfortunately for me every single one of these clones I've picked up for the SNES does this. Stuff like the NES clones, the 8-Bit Entertainment System for instance, don't have this problem, and admittedly I haven't tried non-Hyperkin SNES clones, but this one sadly has to go back. ... show more

I'm aware that Hyperkin's products have been known to be hit and miss with its functionality but I've not had an issue with it yet! It is as advertised...it puts out pure HD quality to your SNES games. I never imagined I'd ever see my childhood games be transformed into HD quality until I got this console.
